As I take time with family and friends this week, I’m reflecting on 2022. It’s been quite a year!
I’m so blessed to have my great husband, wonderful daughters, and a great job. But more than that, Jesus is my Savior. My hope is not found in success, titles, fame, but in the One who made me and created me to honor Him with my life.
As you celebrate this week, I hope you’ll dig deep and really slow down to take inventory of what’s important and what you are truly blessed to have.

It’s been the most difficult situation our family has faced to date, but ultimately God is good.

After going through Hurricane Ian last week, I’ve been looking for the good of each day.
I have happy clients that are taking their much anticipated trips.
I have been able to watch the sunrise from my back yard.
I found this cute Alabama pumpkin at the store.
Most of all, I’ve been able to slow down a little bit to appreciate my family, friends and my Jesus, who cares so much for all of us. He is my rock and my salvation.
Appreciate what you have because it can all be gone in an instant.

We are doing better than expected following Hurricane Ian.
Still don’t have power, and have some roof damage, but others have lost so much more.
We are counting our blessings that we have each other and good friends who have generously allowed us to use their generator.
Please continue to pray for southwest Florida as many lost everything.
What we ARE certain of is that God’s faithfulness is great and his mercies are new every morning.

Today’s adventure to the Turkey Hill Experience was another fun foodie spot!
We learned about all the things Turkey Hill makes and did the Taste Lab to make our own ice cream!
This is the progression of my flavor from chocolate base-coffee drops-chocolate covered espresso beans/chocolate mini chips add ins-caramel sauce topping!
It was delicious.

🍫☕️Sweet treat on the way home🍫☕️
We enjoyed a visit to last night!
We bought stroopies, ice cream, and coffees. The ladies serving us did a great job!👍
My drink was the iced caramel macchiato and it was delicious!
We walked off these yummy calories back to our row house afterward and strolled the beautiful neighborhoods along the way!
We’ve had a wonderful vacation this week!

Wow! Today was a day full of “sweet” experiences!
We did the 4D movie, Unwrapped show, Chocolate Tour, Create Your Own Bar, and the Trolley Works Tour!
We are so much free chocolate in addition to treats we bought!🍫
We had a great time and learned a lot about the history of Hershey!
We’ve had a wonderful time making memories on this trip!
