This is great news Allegheny County Parks Foundation !

We are thrilled to announce that funding has been secured for the Ecological Assessment and Action Plan in Deer Lakes Park by The Caroline Fredricka Holdship Charitable Trust and FedEx Ground. The Parks Foundation will work with the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy to complete the Assessment and Action Plan. These comprehensive studies evaluate each park's natural resources and ecological assets and recommend an implementation plan for improving the environment of the park. This is the eighth county park to have this comprehensive study done and we are working to secure the funding for the ninth and final park. We saw this hairy guy at Trail Pittsburgh : Deer Lakes Park work day on Sunday! He listened carefully as the Allegheny County Parks Rangers and Trail Steward training was conducted. Charlie has our vote!

Charlie hit the trails today in support of Trail Pittsburgh : Deer Lakes Park. I think he’d like to be the official Trail Dog for Trail Pittsburgh!

Come join us this Sunday 08/14/2022 at 12 noon
For a group ride!! This will be a casual ride.

Been getting lots of messages about guided rides/tours of DLP. So we are having a group ride this Sunday at noon… yes there is also a work day but showing up is not a requirement to join the ride!

Bring a bike and water.
