Finishing up the last bit of winter prep. Needed to grab a few more supplies and these blue skies made us pause. Seward is magical in any season😍

Took a little ride up to a spot we hope to add to our tours down the road. It was stunning but cold!! Next week I'll start building our website and setting up our booking system. A three year dream is coming together ❤️

Just stopping by to say hello!! Nothing flashy happening right now. Working on building our website, ordering rack cards, setting things up with the chamber and meeting with the Seward Iditarod Trail Blazers .We are so excited to be new members of their group! We want to make sure our tours honor the true history of the trails and this amazing group is gonna help us! Please check out their page! We will be helping out with trail clearing and other events like fundraising. Hoping to get back on the trail this week so we can finalize our tour. Sharing a pic of our first order, just because it's one more step to being real!!! Hurry up summer 2025♥️

Decided to scout out another trail today. Holy cow....looking like we found one. 5 miles, 50 minutes straight up to around 3,900 ft. Had us a picnic and made some plans for the spring😍 Lakes, mountains, glaciers and wild flowers. This trail had us smiling.

Y'all....😍😍😍 We road further today and Porkchop let me do some driving!! Went all the way to Bear Lake and watch some salmon that were getting to that final stage in life. Found lots of animal prints and might have had a celebratory cigar or two. Alaska life is good!!!

Y'all have been pretty patient with us so we thought we'd share some news. After getting Bear Necessities Cottages up and running we thought it might be time to get started on the main reason we are here!!! Yesterday we picked up the first of our fleet and today, we took a ride on our trail. For 2.5 years we've held these permits and didn't have a clue what they held. It was worth the wait!!! Looking like the first tour will be a 17 mile gorgeous scenic trail with the biggest spruce, 3 water crossings and an epic turn around! We are in love ❤️ We forgot how good it was to be on the trail!! Lots to do and plan. We will update you as we do more!!
