There are two main public transport options for getting to/from the airport.

Y02 Bus to Annemasse and then a train.

Traditional wooden chalet with 2 double rooms upstairs and a double sofa-bed downstairs. Set in a quiet, secluded community of 20 chalets, the chalet is only available to rent to friends and is offered at ‘mates rates’ during both summer and winter. The area is known for its excellent skiing with a free ski bus connecting to the Grand-Massif gondola in Samoens (just 15mins away). From here you can access Samoens, Flaine, Morillon, Les Carroz. The area also has several excellent cross country ski areas including the spectacular Col de Joux Plane and Cirque du fer a Cheval.

There are also many spectacular walks, and bike routes as well as plentiful climbing and rafting oppprtunuties in spring and summer.

Lake Annecy is just an hour away and certainly worth a visit with its lake side cafes and beautiful architecture. For the more adventurous head to Annecy for paragliding.

Geneva airport is 75mins door to door with regular cheap flights from Bristol airport.
