Komodo National Park has many beautiful tourist destinations. Besides being a tourist destination, Komodo National Park also has a strong local culture

Waerebo village is one of the places where local Manggarai residents live. You can recognize this village by the houses that have funnel-shaped roofs.

One of the traditional dances of the Manggarai tribe is the Caci Dance. This dance with elements of martial arts is performed by two men who wear a whip, a shield, a stick, and wear a mask. Usually this dance is performed during the celebration of the new year, harvest season, or opening arable land.

Having seen manggarai local people and their dance, don't forget to taste the special drink from Flores, Moke. Traditional alcoholic drink made from palm trees. This drink is a symbol of local customs and brotherhood.

Padar Island is one of the iconic places, and the third largest island After Komodo Island and Rinca Island. You can find an amazing view from the top of Padar Island and see three different colours of sand beach, and turquoise bays. Don't forget to bring your camera and take a picture!

Why does the sand colour pink/reddish on a pink beach?
Are you guys curious why the sand on the Pink Beach is pink and reddish? The sand colour is pink and reddish caused by destroyed coral fragments floating off to the coast by the waves. The fragment combined with white sand produces soft pink/reddish colour of the beach sands.

In Komodo Island, you’ll find many local wildlife, such as deer, snakes, macaques, buffaloes, boars, and other animals.
