There is something about walking round the harbour when the tide is out. I love seeing the boats full of equipment needed for their fishing trips and admiring the boats.

is a great place to pop in for a drink on a walk. It has been pretty mild recently but I am sure they will get the fires going when it gets a bit colder!

It has been 5 months since we have managed to come down for a visit to the apartment and what a joy it is to be back!

There have been some very low tides and we have managed to walk from Fistral beach to Little Fistral, them up onto the coastal path to the harbour, we walked through the harbour walls onto Towan, Great Western, Tolcarne, L***y Glaze and finally onto Porth beach.

Walking back from Lewinnick Lodge after a delicious meal and saw these grasses against the sky.

Todays surf forecast is looking great from the afternoon into the evening. Reports of 3-4ft waves with an offshore wind. Our low tide is at 17:10hrs, leaving a perfect recipe for a dinner time surf! 🌊 🏄🏼‍♂️

Finish off your evening on the beach, and welcome DJ Aldo Vanucci who will be dj'ing from 4pm until sunset. 🎧🎶 This is a FREE event, children and dogs welcome!

Treat yourself with an evening at the beach listening to relaxing acoustic songs as the sun sets. Our oven is warm and drinks chilled ready for our weekly Wednesday Sundowner Session ☀️🎶

- Dogs & Children welcome.
- Serving Pizza, Salads + Sides. You're welcome to bring a picnic but please do not bring your own alcohol onto the beach otherwise we get into trouble!

NEWQUAY has been ranked first in a list of best overall UK holiday destinations. Not a surprise when you look at all the activities you can do and all the wonderful places to stay and eat at!

Newquay scored 9.72 out of 10 to come out top, whilst Scarborough came in second, Canterbury in third and Bath in fourth.

We have just had a fabulous week in the apartment. We had one day of rain, one day of hot sunshine and the rest was blue sky but with a bit of a chilly breeze but it was just nice to get away and enjoy the sea air!
