Every now and then...wildlife and fabulous backlight line up.
This lovely creature is a regular in our yard feasting on corn that is put out every morning. She was kind enough to stand still and let me grab a quick snap.
We call her "Sparkles".....mainly because she adds a ray of sunshine to our day.

The Grand Prismatic in a pano.
One of the biggest draws to Yellowstone NP.
It's worth the trek to the platform overlook to see it in it's royal colors.

Culling through some images from a trip to Yellowstone a few years ago......I came across my river otter pics from the Grizzly / Wolf Discovery Center.
We watched about 3 of these critters for over an hour that day. They were very entertaining and comical to watch.

I love the gradients on this stem. It was the only red on the hike and it seemed to just pop in the shadows.

The hike to this old barn was easy. Only 1/2 mile one way.
The main reason I even photographed it was the gold tree to the left glowing in the sunlight.
