It's always a pleasure when u finish a successful hunt. Back to the homestead tomorrow. Splitting the journey into 2 days. 11 hours first day 9 hours the next day. Hunting these remote areas is a challenge but very rewarding.

At the end of the Safari we cook some fillets from animals we have taken. We had Wildebeest, Bushbuck, Impala, Grysbok and Puku. All were super. Compliments to the Chef. Wildebeest was the best. Awesome hunt. Looking forward to the next one.

Crocodile have been hard on this hunt. We are in a drought year. Water very low. Limited deep spots. Its the last day, late afternoon and we finally got our Flat dog! 3 well placed rapid fire shots. Got the great Lizard. A fitting end to a great Safari.

Old Cookson Wildebeest taken today. Found him rolling with some impala as these lone bulls do sometimes. Did some decent stalks while impala kept spooking, but eventually got our shot. Awesome trophy. A must when coming to Luangwa Zambia.

Sometimes you get a 2nd chance. Followed 2 Dagga boys and just didn’t connect. Next day we turned down alot of tracks. We left them as back ups. Trackers and myself were fixed on the day before buff. We worked at it and got this Champ old bull. 43 inch Kakuli in the salt. Happy days. 💪🙂
