290 days ago, Hurricane Ian changed Captiva Island’s history forever. The Palm and Shell sustained serious damage—including to our roof, our pool cage destroyed, 4 1/2 feet of storm surge and more.
We have been working hard since that day to build back better than ever and we are excited to share that WE ARE BACK! In fact, our first post-Ian guests are there now.
Our 5 BR home, private beach and amazing barrier island are all ready to welcome you back. We are accepting reservations now!

We are feeling thankful this year for our beautiful island, for progress and recovery and for all of you. Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours! We can’t wait to welcome you back in 2023. 🌴 🐚

While we are not able to access the island at this time, we do have confirmation that the Palm & Shell is still standing. We have some visible roof and exterior damage but were so grateful to see it there on satellite images.

Our beloved Captiva Island chose us, and we will be there for it now and in the hard days and months ahead when it needs us the most.

We will keep you updated here as we learn more.
