The perfect view doesn’t exi-

Although it looks a thousand miles from anywhere, the Ritz Carlton is just a 45-minute speedboat ride from Malè.

Newly opened in June 2021, the resort shies away from traditional Maldivian design. Many of its 100 beachfront and overwater villas are a bold circular shape, and there’s not a thatched roof in sight.
