Hello everyone! On my most recent trip to Europe back in October 2024, I was told by the Warsaw immigration that I couldn't stay longer than 30 days in Poland because I'd go over the Schengen rule. I was told I couldn't go back until Spring 2025 which I felt was wrong. However, I didn't want to get in trouble so I booked the cheapest flight to a non-schengen country which turned out to be Kutaisi, Georgia. When I went to the Wroclaw airport, the Polish immigration officer confirm that I was correct and the Warsaw immigration officer was wrong and he said I'm able to return back in 5-days, not next year Spring. I spent 7-days in Kutaisi, Georgia which is a very random travel destination and I did learn a lot about this unplanned side-trip during my second one year trip around the world. Hello everyone! During my most recent trip to Europe, I got a chance to revisit Belgrade in Serbia again. I'm surprised that prices have gone up there, especially transport from the airport. Is going to Florianopolis in Brazil a future travel destination for you? During my second one year trip around the world, I got a chance to visit this city for one-week in an attempt to try and live like a local. We rented an Airbnb and unfortunately, the city was freezing cold! I did get to see capybaras in this city which is the number one reason I wanted to go here as I heard it's easy to see them here. Is Lencois Maranhenses a travel destination you'd like to go to someday? Several years ago, while watching a TV show called Naked and Afraid, one of the places they went to looked like this insane alien landscape. I immediately did my research to find out where this place is and turns out it's in Brazil and the place is called Lencois Maranhenses. This place has such an alien landscape, that they even used it as the setting for Vormir in Avengers Infinity Wars and Avengers Endgame. Sufficient to say, I was so excited to go here and my trip here did not disappoint! Although several bad things still happened to me during this trip, this is definitely a destination I would like to return to again several years in the future. Travelling to Nicaragua was a thorn in my side for many years. I wanted to go here back in 2020 and even booked a flight. Unfortunately, COVID happened and I was unable to go. I tried again in 2021 and unfortunately, Aeroplan pulled the rug under me and changed my flight path all of a sudden. Then, I was supposed to go this year during my second one year trip only for my flight path to get changed again by Aeroplan. But, I wasn't going to give up. I eventually booked a flight to Liberia Costa Rica using my Westjet Dollars and I took a shuttle from there to San Juan del Sur in Nicaragua to successfully visit my 102nd country in my quest to visit every single country in the world! Is Travelling to Iran in your bucket list travel destination? As of making this article, I am travelling for one year and decided I wanted Iran to be my 100th country because I have so many Iranian friends that I grew up with in Canada. While travelling in Iran, I got a chance to visit Isfahan (my favourite part of Iran), and Shiraz. The trip was mostly good until the end when I got stranded in the country after a last-minute flight cancellation.
