Yoga retreats aren’t just for women. They’re for anyone who craves adventure, connection, and the kind of travel where all the details are handled so you can just show up and enjoy.
Some of my favorite stories come from the boyfriends, husbands, and solo guys who joined a retreat—sometimes totally sure of their choice, sometimes tagging along, and sometimes just wanting a built-in adventure crew.
📸Like the couple who came to Iceland on a bucket-list trip. Neither had practiced yoga much before, but they came for the adventure, the landscapes, and the space to just be together. They left even closer than before. (Spoiler: They’re now married.) 💍
👫Or the husband who skipped yoga for a slow morning with his wife, wandering downtown Akureyri, sipping coffee, and exploring the local shops. Because that’s the beauty of a retreat—it’s yours to make your own.
🐋And then there was the solo traveler who came looking for yoga, adventure, and travel buddies. No partner, no group—just a ticket to Iceland and a willingness to say yes. And he did—on the yoga mat, on the trails, and on a whale-watching boat where he had the time of his life.
❌No, you don’t have to do every yoga session.
❌No, you don’t have to be a “yoga person.”
✅Yes, you’ll have an unforgettable experience.
Some of the best connections happen here—whether it’s new love, love sustained, or just love for the adventure itself.
