[Pan Am Champs] - At the end of the grueling 5 day Elite Pan American Track Cycling Championships, Trinidad & Tobago end with their best medal haul of 2 Gold and 1 Bronze. On top of the podium finishes, TTO also leave with 3 New National Records, 2 New Pan American Records and 1 New World Record!

The Elite Pan Ams is a critical Olympic Qualifier which has seen T&T gain huge Olympic points towards Tokyo2020.

Five youth of Indian Origin from Trinidad & Tobago; Ms. Kumarie Kuarsingh, Mr. Rishi Meetoo, Mr. Chris Sieuchand, Ms. Shantelle Dan & Ms. Suanjali Persad, were selected for the 55th Know India Programme (03-27 September 2019) of the Government of India. They will visit New Delhi, Agra (the Taj Mahal) & Goa. Goa,the partner state for this KIP, is on the Western coast of India and is one of the smallest states. Goa is known for its pristine beaches, Portuguese way of life, its Churches & Convents, such as the 'Basilica of Bom Jesus' , which is UNESCO World Heritage Site.The group met with Mr. Nagalingam Lingi Chetty (Acting High Commissioner) & Mr. Rentala Srinivas (Attaché) before embarking on their visit.
