The cat is finally out of the bag🥳! Our region will soon be home to the Craig Botetourt Scenic Trail! This new trail will parallel Craigs Creek and run 26 miles from New Castle in Craig County to Eagle Rock in Botetourt County.

With this new amenity comes not only recreation opportunities for residents, but business opportunities (think bike rentals, restaurants, etc.) while also raising the region's profile as a premier outdoor destination! Pair this trail with the nearby 17-mile long Jackson River Scenic Trail and the opportunities are endless.
