Airblue has announced that it will be starting direct flights between Skardu and Islamabad after receiving regulatory approval from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).

According to details, Airblue will operate three flights per week on the route. The flights will be operated every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

The first flight is set to take off from New Islamabad International Airport on 5 July, Tuesday. The fare for a one-way ticket for the route will start from Rs. 13,806.

This new development comes a few weeks after the Civil Aviation Authority announced that it would be giving licenses to 17 airlines to operate tourist and chartered flights within the country.

The decision by the National Command and Operation Center to make facemask wearing mandatory in all public transport vehicles is in line with the recommendations of the National Institute of Health.

This map shows the movement of an Eagle over a twenty years period .🦅 It had the tracker fitted in Russia and it finally died twenty years later in the Valley of the Child in Saudi Arabia.It is very interesting to see just how far this Eagle travelled over its twenty years of life and the great distances it travelled crossing many countries . Also what is interesting to note is the way in which it avoided crossing the sea .You can clearly see where it took the longest route just to stay flying over land.Many many species of birds spend their whole lives flying over the sea but one thing is for sure and that is that this Eagle certainly avoided crossing the sea.🦅🦅🦅 .....nature ❤️

PIA announced to resume its famous "Air Safari" service from June 12, it will provide the lifetime experience of viewing the world's highest snowy mountains, the flight will depart from Islamabad and will flyover the mighty K2, Nanga parbat, Gaherbrum peaks, Deosai plains and the famous Saif ul Maluk, in one hour flight the captain will enlighten the passenger with live commentary and in depth knowledge about the route, the flight would then be landing at Skardu airport, every passenger boarded on flight will be allocated a window seat says the PIA Official.

From 12th of June, you can book a flight from Islamabad and fly over K2, Nanga Parbat, Deosai, and other mountains before landing in Skardu.

First PIA flight from Lahore to Skardu is being given water cannon salute at Skardu airport.

The flight landed safely with 153 passengers and a much cheaper fare of Rs 7500 one way is announced to promote tourism. Airbus A-320 will fly twice every week from Lahore to Skardu. Flight duration will be 1 hr 30 min.

کے ٹو بیس تک کیسے پہنچا جا سکتا ہے؟؟

یہ سوال آج کل ہر پاکستانی کے ذہین میں ہے اور پوچھ رہا ہے آئیں آپ کو بتاتے ہیں کہ K2 بیس کیمپ تک کیسے پہنچ سکتے ہیں،اسلام آباد سے سکردو آپ بذریعہ روڈ اور بائی ائیر دونوں طریقوں سے جا سکتے ھیں۔ اسلام آباد سے سکردو کا کل فاصلہ 639 کلومیٹر ہے۔ جب آپ سکردو پہنچ جائیں گے تو وہاں سے آگے آپ کی منرل شروع ہوگی جو ایڈونچر سے بھرپور ہوگی۔سکردو سے اسکولی تک آپ نے جیپ پر سفر کرنا ہے جو قریب سات سے آٹھ گھنٹوں پر مشتمل ہوگا یہ ٹوٹل 126 کلومیٹر سفر ہے۔اسکولی میں ہی K2 کمپ سائٹ ہے یہ گاڑیوں کا آخری سٹاپ ہے یہاں سے آگے کسی قسم کی کوئی ٹرانسپورٹ نہیں جاتی۔ یہاں سے آگے پیدل سفر کی شروعات ہوتی ہیں،آپ کو اسکولی سے K2 بیس کیمپ تک 90 کلومیٹر پیدل چلنا ہے۔ رات کو اسکولی میں قیام کے بعد صبح آپ نے (جھولا) کی طرف پیدل چلنا شروع کریں گے۔ یہ ٹوٹل 18 کلومیٹر کا سفر ہے جو قریب تقریبا دس سے بارہ گھنٹے کی ہائیکنگ کے بعد آپ جھولا پہنچیں گے۔ جھولا کیمپ سائٹ پر رات بسر کرنے کے بعد صبح آپ یہاں سے (پائیو) کی طرف نکل پڑیں گے۔ جھولا سے پائیو تک 22 کلومیٹر کا سفر ہے، دن بھر ہائیکنگ کے بعد آٹھ سے دس گھنٹوں کی مسافت کے بعد (پائیو کیمپ سائٹ پہنچیں گے،اکثر لوگ یہاں ایک دن سٹے کرتے ہیں کیوں کہ اس سے آگے آپ کا سفر دنیا کے دوسرے بڑے گلیشئر (بالتورو) پر ھوگا جو 65 کلومیٹر پر پھیلا ہوا ہے۔

پائیو سے (اردوکس) 21 کلومیٹر سفر بھی کم و بیش آٹھ سے دس گھنٹوں محیط ھے، یہاں سے آپ کو ٹینگو ٹاورز کا نظارہ بھی دیکھنے کو ملے گا،ٹھنڈی یخ رات کے بعد آپ کا اگلا سفر اردوکس سے (گورو 2) کی طرف ہے یہ بھی 15 کلومیٹر کا سفر ہے یہ سفر کرنے کے بعد آپ منرل مقصود کے قریب پہنچ چکے ہیں
نیکسٹ آپ نے (گورو 2) سے (کنکورڈیا) کی طرف اپنا سفر جاری رکھنا ہے جو 12 کلومیٹر پر محیط ہے۔
کنکورڈیا پہنچ کر پہلی نظر میں آپ کو مرشد کا دیدار ہوگا،یہ عظیم الشان چوٹی دنیا کی دوسری بڑی چوٹی ہے
1953 میں امریکی کوہ پیماں جارج بیل نے K2 کو Savage Mountain نام دیا ان کا کہنا تھا ایک خطرناک پہاڑ ہے جو آپ کو مارنے کی کوشش کرتا ہے۔
اگر آپ K2 کے قدموں میں جانا چاہتے ہیں تو کنکورڈیا سے آپ کو K2 بیس کیمپ تک مزید 11 کلومیٹر کی ہائیکنگ کرنی ہوگی اور یوں آپ K2 بیس کیمپ پہنچ جائیں گے۔
اس کے علاوہ آپ گیشربرم 2 (8،035 میٹر) براڈ پیک (8،051 میٹر) بھی دیکھ سکتے ہیں۔
کتنے پیسوں میں کے ٹو بیس تک جا سکتے ھیں تو یہ مختلف ٹورسٹ کمپنیوں کا کے مختلف ریٹ ہیں کم سے 1 لاکھ پچاس سے شروع ہوتے ہیں اور پانچ لاکھ تک جاتے ہیں سہولیات کی فراہمی کی بنیاد پر ۔۔۔!!!

نوٹ۔ ہوسکتا ہے اس میں بہت ساری چیزیں رہ گئی ہوں کیوں کہ میں کوئی کوہ پیماں نہیں ہوں یہ ڈیٹا مختلف سائٹ سے لے کر اس کو آسان الفاظ میں لکھنے کی کوشش کی ہے امید کچھ سوالات کے جوابات عام آدمی کو مل گئے ہوں گے۔
