📍Primošten Croatia 🇭🇷

The view from this place was so captivating that I could have spent days just gazing at it.
Primošten, a charming village, known for having one of Croatia's top ten beautiful beaches. It is also home to Lady Loreto, one of the largest shrines dedicated to the Virgin Mary in the world.

FUN FACT: I later discovered that Lady Loreto is the patron of pilots, flight attendants, and those serving in the Air Force. ✈️

📍Trebinje
Bosnia and Herzegovina 🇧🇦

Trebinje is a city located in the southern part of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is situated on the banks of the Trebišnjica River and is the southernmost city in the country.

The area around Trebinje has a long history dating back to ancient times. It was part of the Roman Empire and later came under the rule of the Byzantine Empire, the Serbian medieval state, the Ottoman Empire, and the Austro-Hungarian Empire. It has experienced various cultural influences throughout history.
Culture and Heritage

🍷Trebinje is renowned for its wine production. The mild climate and fertile soil in the area make it suitable for vineyards. There are several wineries in and around the city that produce high-quality wines, including the famous Vukoje Cellars and my new favorite .sekulovic

The most well-known and iconic bridge in Trebinje is the Arslanagića Bridge (also known as the Perovića Bridge). It is a historic stone bridge that spans the Trebišnjica River in the city center. The bridge was constructed during the Ottoman period in the 16th century and is considered a significant cultural and architectural heritage of Trebinje.
The bridge was moved 5 kilometers downstream so a hydropool could be installed. Since it was moved although still original, it will not be considered UNESCO heritage sight.

Take a peek into my memorable trip to Madeira! 📸

Madeira is an oasis of green within the Atlantic Ocean. This lush island with its permanent spring-like climate, is diverse and fascinating, and one of the truly unique holiday destinations of Europe.

✨We absolutely loved staying at Savoy Palace, an upscale, modern, and elegant hotel that was breathtaking. With stunning views surrounding your room, you’re welcomed with a comfortable stay after a long day of adventuring.

✨Nestled in the streets are fresh produce stands, live music, and vibrant street art. We stopped by the Catedral do Funchal and also experienced the Carnavale which had various events, unique plant species brought from around the world from explorers, and more. We also tried “Poncha” which is a traditional alcoholic drink made with aguardente de cana, honey, sugar, and lemon/orange juice. It’s deliciously deadly, so be sure to limit yourself to just two!🥂

Miami Virgin Voyages Cruise Recap! 🛳️

I recently boarded Virgin Voyages Scarlet Lady for a 5 day cruise to Nassau, Bahamas and Bimini Beach! 🛳️ While enjoying the luxurious activities onboard, we had the opportunity to taste the culture through cuisines and more!

We indulged at CVI.CHE 105 which is a 12-year award-winning Peruvian restaurant located in downtown Miami. Their dishes were absolutely delicious, including their cocktails and fresh seafood. The ambiance was unique and would recommend for anyone to try.
