All of which are false in my opinion...

So here are 3 of the top ones I see and hear often and the truth behind them. 👇🏼

❌ It’s a Get Rich Quick Scheme

This is one of the biggest myths of all.

Some people think that it's an overnight success.

But in reality, Affiliate Marketing is all about building an audience who trusts you and your advice.

So, if you think affiliate marketing is going to make you rich overnight, then that is not going to happen.

✅ Bottom line: To earn online, you need to develop relations, build trust and help solve problems.

❌ You Need a Blog or Website

Most of the people think that they need a blog or website to start affiliate marketing.

But that’s not the case at all.

Most people follow the path of creating a blog or website to give value as a way to communicate with their target audience and showcase products and services.

The problem is it takes time and 9/10 times you will get discouraged that you aren’t getting results and end up spinning your wheels.

If you are clear about who your target audience is and you stay consistent in your approach, you can start bringing in money without any complicated tech.

Be active in Facebook groups related to your niche.

You can share tips, and provide value to others within the community. This will get you more connections in your space, which will allow you to build more relationships by helping to solve the problems of others.

✅ Bottom Line: When you give value to your target audience consistently, people are bound to notice you.

❌ Affiliate Marketing Can be Completely Automated

If you try to automate every single step of the process, you will end up creating an impersonal, unprofessional relationship.

It’s not good to use the automation at every step.

✅ Bottom line: When getting started with affiliate marketing, the more personal you can be and the more you show that you are actually a genuine person that cares and wants to help, the more commissions you will earn.

When the entire mobile industry began focusing on touch screens, they were eager to protect what they had… You know how the story ends

⛔Kodak⁠

Steve Sasson, the Kodak engineer actually invented the first digital camera back in 1975, but it was a FILMLESS photography, so the managements reaction was,
😳‘That’s so cute but don’t tell anyone about it’ says Sasson. In short the leaders of Kodak had a golden chance to revolutionize photography but squandered the opportunity for self-preservation.

The founder of NETFLIX Reed Hastings proposed a partnership with the former CEO of the blockbuster company John Antioco which he turned down. {You probably are looking at your Netflix app wondering what blockbuster is!!}

📱Nokia was the first company to create a cellular network in the world. The late 1990 and early 2000 they were the global leaders in mobile phones.

🌧️Rain started beating them when they refused to lead the drastic change in their USER experience this lead them to create an operating system they though was good for their USERS but ended up not being a fit in the market.

⛔Toys R Us⁠

The brand executed its own death when they signed a 10year contract to be an exclusive toy vendor at Amazon.

Despite the deal Amazon allowed other toys vendors to sell on its site. Toys R Us sued but as a result missed an opportunity to create its own E-Commerce presence

I am talking about that period of time, after you decide to dive into the online business thing!

You take action every single day, you do what you think and know is necessary, you sub for every software to help, but then you are not seeing any results 😦

You see, this is where most people give up‼️

They start to changing products, jump on other platforms, and they start to seek shortcuts and forget about the process🤦🏻‍♂️

Self-doubt and distraction will kick in and you kill all the momentum you built 📉

I know early results will feel great, but reality is something else 😏

✅ Give up the employee mentality, don’t expect to get paid right after you do the job. The early results are not in dollars 💰when the timing is right the money will come in great quantity. Do the job first!

✅ Shutout the distraction and focus on your focus:

👉🏻 Pick one or two platform, until you master them and they pay you the money, then you can go from there. You don’t have to be Gary Vay from day 1 🤪

👉🏻 Pick one product that you really believe in, small portfolio of 2 or 3 products that fit in your niche is also good, as long as you can stay focused and in your line of business 👌🏻

✅ Have a proven plan, be consistent, and do the reps.

✅ Be prepared to give yourself 3-6 months to see the results. If there were any magic pill, I would have bought it 😉

Ps. If you can hire a mentor to work personally with, and sub to softwares; that will help accelerate your growth, but if you can’t just yet, don’t worry, this is not going to kill your chances ⛔️

Most people in this industry are POSTING to get COMMENTS and make crowd 🗣

If your goal is to be famous and spend hours on Facebook, this is great.

However, if your goal is to build a personal branding and an army of followers, and actually make money, this ain’t go nowhere 🤫

Simple example:

🔸 Posts (you got this, if you are seeing this … I hope you …, type Amen if you believe… and the list goes on and on and on)

🔸 Contents (problem and solution, educational, success story, inspirational real story, technical information, mind-set shift … etc.)

👉🏻 Comments Vs Engagement

Comment is simply saying something, or anything to a post or a content, without even having a look on it 🤔

We both know that most people do this to spike-up the algorithm 😉

Now there is nothing wrong with that; However, I think anyone who stops by a good content is better to leave some insightful thought 💭 , this will help other people see your unique opinion and will make you stand out from the rest; now this is called engagement 🙌🏻

The only exception for this rule is that no one can make a very insightful engagement on a POST 😶

What could you say so insightful on a POST like “if you are reading this, I hope you …) 😬

Ever wondered how all the big shots get maximum engagement on their posts? Well here is the trick that they use.

✅ Warm up the Algorithm by engaging other people’s posts that are similar to your niche.

✅ Write a comment similar to the post.

Do this for at least 20 minutes.

✅ Write your own Post. Write 2 posts a day and have a space of 5-6 hours between these posts.

✅ Write 1 inspirational post per day

✅ Write 1 post that provides value to the readers

✅Write 3-4 posts a week on promoting your products but be careful not to just promote them directly in the post. e.g.

✅Want to see this new method that gives me 100 leads a

day on auto-pilot?

✅Want to start your own online business in $ xx?

✅Want to design ebooks with absolutely no designing skills and covers at the click on a button?

✅Forget Fiverr and those expensive graphic designers, learn how to design your own ebooks. Comment “ebook” below

✅Keep refreshing your Friends List by adding new people from different groups according to your niche. The people who are not commenting or engaging, go ahead and unfriend them and just have people who are liking and commenting on your posts.

✅Every 2 weeks refresh your friend's list. There are a few tools that can help you do this. I use a chrome extension called FB Multi Tools

✅Add 15-20 new people every day from different FB Groups according to your niche. You can add up to 5,000 people in your friend's list so those are 5,000 potential leads.

✅You can also add people from buyer groups e.g. if you have purchased a product go to that group and add people from there. Be careful not to spook the group owner though.

✅You can also look out for Facebook Ads that appear on your timeline and add people who have engaged on those Ads. A good place to add people would be from Facebook Ads by Tony Robbins, Peng Joon, Dean Graziosi, Tai Lopez to name a few.

It’s a jungle out there …❌

It is no wonder affiliate marketers have a bad name.👎

Someone sends you a friend request. You accept. Then after a quick hello, straight off the bat comes the ‘So what do you do?’ question. ❓❓

But you know damn well it’s not really ‘So what do you do?’

You know the dude couldn't give a toss what you do.🤬

The question is really a statement, a statement that goes like this: ‘I’m throwing out a little question here but in my next message I’m going to tell you how I’m God’s gift to affiliate marketing (I’m a 6 figure earner!!!! … I’m the best coach you are ever likely to come across … in fact, I am s**t 😎 hot).

And then, in my third comment to you (a complete stranger) I’m going to ask you what your biggest challenge is in your business.

OK, so I have zero posts👎 of any quality👎 on my profile but I told you I’M GREAT and because I am THAT should be enough.

Therefore, it is obvious YOU NEED ME. And THAT is why I’m going to ask you what your biggest struggle is.

And when you tell me (I won’t be listening to your answer btw), I’ll hit you with my link.🔨

Why does this get up my goat❓
Not because it is sheer stupidity. Nor because it demonstrates the dude has no idea what he’s doing.

It gets up my goat because it staggers me how often it occurs.

So ... if you are out there thinking about using Facebook to promote your latest thing, remember, your profile is your ongoing message to the world 🙋‍♂️ reflecting your value to potential customers.🙏

💎We’ve ALL got Shiny Object Syndrome!💎

If you are just starting out in affiliate marketing - or if you are thinking about starting out in affiliate marketing - the one thing that is guaranteed is that you will be inflicted with the dreadful disease called SHINY OBJECT SYNDROME.💎💎

Everyone has it. Some people have it well under control. But be assured, for most digital marketers, SOS is alive and well.👍

You know what I’m talking about … the lust to jump from one thing to the next. It’s the ‘Grass Is Always Greener’ syndrome.😎

So what should you do about it❓❓

Know that you have it (yes you do)🙏

Know that you’ll be tempted by many things - courses, widgets, apps, programs - that make you think “Oh, so THIS is what I need. If I jump on board with THIS then I’ll finally start making the sales I want”.🤗

Understand the conditions that activate SOS - because Shiny Object Sydnrome strikes when you are finding things TOUGH.🤬

Repeat that … when you find the going tough is when Shiny Object Sydnrome strikes.🤬🤬

Once you are aware of the pattern THEN you can say “Hello SOS … no thanks!” and then check back on your action plan and ACTION the next thing.🤗

That’s it!

There is a trick to this, however.

SOMETIMES … the object that looks shiny MIGHT be what you need to embrace next.✅

SOMETIMES! In short, if you are not with an awesome training program that is based on implementation and proven strategies … and that has a vibrant, active, supportive community of smart people … and you find such a program then THAT maybe your next step.🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

In this instance, it may not be Shiny Object Syndrome at all. It might simply be your green light.🚦

You are going to have to work out the difference yourself.🤗

❌ Is Perfectionism Holding You Back? ❌

Here’s a message very applicable to affiliate marketing, but also to life in general.

Perfectionism - The progress killer!❌👎

Perfectionism really says:
“I will not implement anything unless I believe it is up to my (ridiculous, perfectionist) standards. As a result I will produce way less content than is possible, implement way fewer new ideas than I could - all because I value my own perceptions of what is acceptable more than I value progress.”👎

The reason why a perfectionist stays a perfectionist is simply by not questioning their own actions,👎 not gaining clarity on what it is.

How do you change from being a perfectionist❓❓

Simple.
1) Become aware of your perfectionistic ways😱
2) Become aware that it’s all in your mind - your self-judgements (of your own work) that make no real sense today🤡
3) Do the opposite 👉 👈

Yes, just for the hell of it, put something out there with a typo in it - just to help reprogram yourself. See what it feels like. (You won't die!)🤣

Put the thing out there after two edits rather than six.✅ 👍 (You can always give it a re-edit in six months when you have a bit more time)✅ 👍

This is not about publishing crap.

No, rather, the flip side of perfectionism is imperfect action.🤗 Take action. Make mistakes, improve, take more imperfect action.🤗 ✅

Yet if you re serious about attracting an audience and promoting your offer to them, then provide VALUE to them.

THEN you'll find your audience knocking on your door.🏡

Much better they come knocking on your door than you continually try bashing down theirs with your offers.

✅ Leadership ✅ - what is it? Why is it important?

Leadership is about paving the way for others to lead.👍

It’s about empowering others.✅

Therefore, it’s about helping others.

In affiliate marketing, we need to have a burning desire to help others succeed.🤗

WHY? Because when you have a burning desire to help others - and we demonstrate that desire - those others (your audience) will sense it.🤩

It's almost as if that 'burning desire to help' has a smell to it!🤩

By helping others you attract your audience.🤗

BTW, here’s a different kind of activity that also has a SMELL to it - a repellent SMELL!😱 👹

It's called Throwing links around here, there and everywhere WITHOUT providing regular value.👎

So … provide regular value ✅
Cultivate within yourself a genuine desire to help people ✅

The reality of marketing on Facebook.

We often hear marketers grumbling “The market is saturated!”😡

It can certainly look that way on facebook.😱

But what is the reality❓❓

First up, there are around 𝟐.5 BILLION 𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐄 monthly users on Facebook.😀

Do we really need to do the math❓❓ No!

But here’s the next thing. If affiliate marketing is your game know that:
- The vast majority are not making it
- Most of the glamour is BS

So if you have are a part of a community following a system that actually 👍WORKS👍 - for those who follow it and put in the effort - then MOST of the people who make up your so-called ‘saturated’ market probably need YOUR help.🤗

You just need to learn how to help them.
✅ Be valuable ✅
✅ Offer value and support so your audience comes to you ✅
✅ Be genuine, transparent ✅

It’s about helping others be successful.

💎💎Four Golden Rules When Using Facebook For Organic Reach (Part 2)💎💎

Following on from my previous post , here are some more tips if you are using Facebook to build up your engagement on your profile. ✅ ✅

This time, though, let’s consider how the Facebook algorithm works so we can get it working in our favour👍

The overarching thing to know about Facebook is this: When you send a post, Facebook will show it to about 20 of your friends.

If those people comment on your post (especially 4-5+ words and a heart or emoji) then FB will show it to more people. 👍👍

The more people who comment on your posts, the more your posts will show up on the timelines of your friends and of your friends’ friends. 👍

The second overarching thing to know is that Facebook monitors so many things (it’s scary!)😱

💎💎Golden rule #1💎💎: Don’t copy-paste other’s posts.
Understand that Facebook knows when you have COPIED a post the algorithm will decrease that post’s visibility.

💎💎Golden Rule #2💎💎: Don't speed down your FB feed going Like … Like ... Like ... Like …
Facebook knows when you are speeding down your feed liking people's posts like a mad thing - not reading, not commenting.

If you do this FB knows you are NOT engaging, and as ‘punishment’ will send your posts to less people. FB WANTS PEOPLE TO ENAGGE … SO ENGAGE!

💎💎Golden Rule #3💎💎: Don't Suddenly send tons of friend requests
If you have had your FB page for ages (or if it is new) and do often add new friends
… and THEN you suddenly decide to use FB for promotional purposes
… and THEN start sending Friend Requests like crazy, what do you think will happen?

Is this something FB wants? No! 👎👎

Will FB assume you are a spammer, a moron, a twat?🤖 Yes!

FB will block you from descending more and if you keep pushing they’ll shut your account down.

💎💎Golden Rule #4💎💎: Remember, this is Facebook’s sandpit you are playing in, not yours.

Like it or not, we have to play by their rules. It’s just the way it is. 😎

Facebook provides all this for free. It’s pretty cool.

All you have to do is play by the rules! 😎
