Thanks to Hurricane Ernesto, our season has come to an end one week early. The great folks were able to haul Shady Lady and get her safely tucked away on short notice so a big thank you to them.

Our 4th season was memorable in so many ways with lots of "firsts" and new things, but at the end of the day, it's all about the people. We couldn't have done any of it without our best-in-class captains and our behind the scenes team of fixers, consultants, planners, and experts. A heartfelt thank you to the entire Shades of Blue family and supporters everywhere. Cheers to a great season and I look forward to the start of the next one this fall. Season 5: LET'S GOOOOOO!!

TRAVEL TIP: A lot of you will be traveling down to the USVI in the coming months... The travel day back home is always tough, but even worse when you have an early check out (thanks COVID!) and a later flight. What can you do? Lots of options, but one I highly recommend is to head to the airport early and have your taxi driver drop you off at the Emerald Beach Resort (@emeraldbeachvi) right next door to the airport. Head out back to the restaurant/bar overlooking the beach. Grab some drinks and maybe some food and relax knowing you are only a 5 minute walk to the airport. Doesn't get much better... PS: Try the "Mermaid Wata" drink - fantastic!
