I was recently scrolling through posts on my feed, followed by tumbling down a rabbit hole of comments on a post stating that “having a Disney Travel Agent plan your vacation is like paying someone to pump your gas - it’s something you can very well do yourself, why have someone do it for you?” 😲😮
First, Disney vacation planners and travel advisors, are 100% complimentary!! And proud to be! That’s part of the ease of utilizing the service we provide and absolutely part of all the magic that I so love making for my families!! 👩🧑🏽👵🧓🧒👧👨👩👧👦👨👩👦👨👩👧👨👩👦👦👨👨👦👦👪👨👨👧👩👧👧👨👨👦👩👩👦
Second, we will literally do all the work for you, that we are ABLE to do, so you don’t have to. There are some things you will have to do with my guidance (for privacy and liability reasons), but I’m here every step of the way for you! (With that said- comparing agent to agent is just not nice- there are Disney policies you are supposed to follow and some companies have their own policies as well- it’s not a make or break in terms of what makes you an amazing agent- we all do things differently and we’re all capable!) Maybe you’re trying to plan a trip in the midst of a busy season in your life and it’s a lot. Or maybe you’re not a Disney person and you just want to pass off the the duties of planning and doing all day, everyday as a fierce do-it-all mama or dad - and that’s exactly what I’m here for! 🧍♀️🧍❤️
Third, and this is a big one - even if you want to do all the planning yourself, why not let a Disney planner at least book the trip for you? “The prices travel advisors get are the exact same that you’ll get booking with Disney directly on site” (plus or minus some discounts you may or may not know about that we can help you with!)- BUT instead of putting extra cash in the big man’s pocket, you’re helping pay for a childs t-ball team or dance lessons, or a couples fertility treatment, cancer treatment, medical bills, or whatever, the fur-babies food! With the added bonus of having your best interest in their hands! 🐶⚾️👶🏼🏥
If you have a friend that is a Disney travel advisor, use them! Even if you don’t utilize their full range of services, help them out by booking your package with them! And in the end, if you have questions, we’re here with your best interest in mind- and we know our Disney in and out! Especially if you’re one, like me, that has been going and experiencing the magic for years and years! I am on my phone all day everyday while my clients are experiencing the magic- and I wouldn’t have it any other way!!
(And as much as I hate to admit it, it is a little disheartening to see friends and family post photos of their Disney vacations when I’m thinking “oh man, they didn’t book with me, I would’ve loved to help them!”) 😞😞
I also can’t count how many times people have come home from their trip and said, “Man I wish I had booked with you!” “I was so confused and lost!” Or run into an issue while there and contacted me to say “I need your help!” And I’m here for it ALL!! 😄😄🎊🎊
It can be overwhelming! Planners and advisors are here to help, and more than that - we WANT to help make your vacation the MOST magical. Again- that’s what we’re here for! So do it, book that Disney trip, and leave the rest to us!! That’s the way Walt would have wanted it to be!! 🏰 🐭
