Strolling through the Company Gardens, South Africa’s oldest public park and botanical garden located in the heart of the city, offers a leisurely and historically rich experience. The gardens were originally cultivated to supply passing ships with fresh produce. Today, the aim of the garden is to bring together the diverse communities of Cape Town to a historical and cultural shared public space. It’s a picturesque haven featuring the oldest cultivated pear tree in the country. The Company Gardens are a highlight for nature enthusiasts and history buffs alike. 🌳

Boulders Beach, a small sheltered beach where you can see African Penguins in their natural habitat, is among the most visited beaches in Cape Town 🌊. These penguins, with their black and white plumage, comical waddle, and unique calls, will steal your heart. Conservation efforts are crucial for preserving these endangered creatures. ✨The Bo-Kaap’s origins date back to the 1760’s when numerous “huurhuisjes” (rental houses) were built and leased to slaves. To this day, the houses form multi-coloured rows on steeply cobbled roads, every photographer’s dream. The choice of colour is said to be attributed to the fact that while on lease, all the houses had to be white. When this rule was eventually lifted, and the slaves were allowed to buy the properties, all the houses were painted bright colours by their owners as an expression of their freedom.

Today the Bo-Kaap community is a significant part of our cultural heritage and a thriving community, passionate about their people and their food. Our female tours enjoy a wonderful cooking tour here in the Bo-Kaap. 👩‍🍳

A well-traveled wine connoisseur with a deep appreciation for South African wine and an expert in Cape Malay cooking - meet our Zebbie!🦓 Despite his fear of heights, Zebbie boldly embarks on adventures, including hiking on Table Mountain and thrilling helicopter rides. Zebbie lives life to the fullest and is often found in the spa and interacting with locals. He cherishes every sunrise and sunset and the moments spent djembe drumming with the ladies on tour. Zebbie has a soft spot for rhinos, passionately advocating for conservation, so it is no surprise to find Zebbie in the safari vehicle before anyone else.

🚠 Designed to deliver spectacular views, the Table Mountain cable cars’ floor slowly rotates 360 ° in all directions, allowing everyone to enjoy all the different vantages. If hiking, exploring, stunning views and the stillness of nature make you excited - then a hike up (or on top) of Table Mountain should be on your bucket list. 🥾

On our Zebra Adventures tours, we take the cable car to the top of Table Mountain and from there we enjoy a leisurely hike, before catching the cable car back down the mountain.

🦓 2024 Highlights - Day 4.

A jam-packed day; we started with a hike on top of Table Mountain with incredible views over Cape Town followed by lunch at Mojo Market (The Bubble Tea at is incredible, my favourite of course: Passion Fruit Rooibos ice tea with Mango bubbles 💪). And the best lunch - go for a flatbread wrap at Al Fresco ❤️. And as always, a sunset dinner in Blouberg never disappoints! .

Nestled in the picturesque Blaauwklippen Valley on the slopes of the Helderberg Mountain, the estate’s beauty offers a magical experience. 🍇 The ideal spot for a sunset wine tasting at Jordan Wine Estate Stellenbosch. It was a magical experience watching the sunset over Lion’s Head and Table Mountain on one side while enjoying a breathtaking view of the vineyards and mountains on the other side (while sipping on a glass of Jordan's red wine of course).

Our 2024 female tours loved the experience and not to mention the fabulous accommodation. Our vineyard tour at sunset was followed by the most amazing private dinner under the stars. Thank you Jordan Wine Estate Stellenbosch for an exceptional experience - cheers to creating lasting memories! 🍷🌄

Our itinerary includes a hike to MaClear's Beacon, the highest point on Table Mountain in Cape Town. We enjoy spectacular views by taking a short cable car ride to the top, followed by a 5.5 km hike. For those with injuries or not moderately fit, it is recommended to opt for an alternative leisurely walk, including a visit to the restaurant and curio shop. (note: the best soft serve ice creams! 😎)

As women, we often find it challenging to relax, let our hair down and let go. That's why we encourage all the ladies on our hikes to join us on a mindful hike. The pictures speak for themselves - showcasing the liberating feeling of letting go and the exhilarating sense of accomplishment at the end.

✨🦓 2024 Highlights - Day 6✨We arrived in the Winelands and had our introduction to Pinotage followed by a wonderful lunch and wine tasting at Jordan Wine Estate Stellenbosch, a picture perfect moment. We checked in at our accommodation at Cultivar Guest Lodge before heading out later that evening to Kanonkop Wine Estate for an unbelievable experience. If you are in the Winelands, make sure to enquire about Kanonkop’s fish braai. Oh my goodness! Snoek, soet patats (sweet potatoes), salad, home made bread with grape jam, koeksisters and of course, Kanonkop wine!!!! A truly memorable and South African evening #zebraadventures #kanonkop
