Goofy was so silly at this visit when we were having lunch at Tusker House. We have some super cute videos too of him playing hide and seak with the boys. We gave always had really great character interactions at this meal 🤪

I love getting “magic shots” when we purchase the Memory maker! With Memory Maker you get access to all of your photos taken on your trip.

Between Feb. 25, 2022 – Aug. 7, 2022, the following attractions will be added to Disney Genie+ service*:
Magic Kingdom Park: Space Mountain
EPCOT: Frozen Ever After
Disney’s Hollywood Studios: Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway

During this time period, these attractions will not be available for purchase a la carte. This will help to give Guests more options!!

Remember- Attractions with Lightning Lane entrances that are Disney Genie+ and individual purchases are limited in availability, subject to change or closure, may vary by date, are not guaranteed and may not be available at all on the date of visit or at the time you make a selections

Face covering news for Walt Disney World!

Beginning Thursday, February 17, the following health and safety updates will be in place at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort.

Face coverings will be OPTIONAL for fully vaccinated Guests in both outdoor and indoor locations. Guests who are not fully vaccinated are expected to continue wearing face coverings in all indoor locations, including indoor attractions and theaters. Face coverings are still required by all Guests (ages 2 and up) on enclosed Disney transportation, including Disney buses, monorails, and Disney Skyliner.

Mask lanyards are a must for little kids right now when traveling to WDW! Masks are required indoors so having your mask on a lanyard prevents you from having to dig everyone’s masks out of pockets when it’s time to enter a building!

🌟Quick tips from our rest day🌟
💦schedule a rest day!
💦be flexible with your schedule- you may need to change your day if swimming is top priority
💦rest day is a good day for the following- swimming, naps, dining at a different resort, Disney spring

On our rest day we swam from 10am-3pm, just had a quick lunch by the pool, took a Lyft over to Animal Kingdom Lodge where we enjoyed the Savannah views, campfire and marshmallows (5-7 at Jambo house savannah), Boma for dinner, and shopping at the gift shop. We took a Lyft back to our resort and the kids were in bed by 8!

🌟Quick tips update on our Hollywood Studios day🌟
🎥this park is busy all of the time due to all of the very popular rides- Slinky Dog Dash, Rise of the Resistance, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Smugglers Run- being the most popular
🎥the best time to hit rides at this park is immediately at park open and again in the late afternoon around 5pm to close
🎥if you want to ride slinky dog dash with a wait over 75 minutes, I suggest you get genie+, but you must make a reservation for the ride immediately at 7am or the passes are gone.
🎥after the first hour-2 of the park being open it will get very busy- go see filler attractions like Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular, Frozen show, Vacation fun, Muppets 3D, Disney Junior dance parity, Lightning McQueen, Beauty and the Beast live on stage, Walt Disney Presents, watch cavalcades come by, get a snack, shop!, take photos!
🎥in our personal experience- we were able to enter the park at 8:05am as resort guests and get into line for rides immediately. Rides began running at 830. Remember- resort guests technically get 30 minutes early entry. On this day regular park open was 9am.

Ok friends and followers of our Disney vacation! Here’s my first update since our trip started. It’s so hard to post when we are here enjoying all things Disney!
We arrived at MCO international airport on Tuesday 2/1 around 1130am. We had booked the Sunshine Flyer service for transportation to our resort. (I’ll do a post with more details when we get home). It was essentially like the magical express that is no longer in operation, but this is a paid service.
We arrived at Disneys Boardwalk around 1pm and dropped our bags at Bell Services.
From there we enjoyed the views of the boardwalk while we had lunch. Our room wasn’t ready yet (check in is at 4pm, but sometimes your room is ready early), so we went down to the pool and swam until it was ready! I’m the meantime, our Instacart food delivery was left at Bell Services. When our room was ready, we called them to bring everything up for us.
We unpacked, settled in, and crashed early on our first night!
Like I said- more details to follow about transportation, resort check in, food orders, and Boardwalk resort!

What does the Hagen family bring to the WDW theme parks?
Some of the following depend on weather and age of your kids of course. With two 7 year olds, this is what we bring.
*regular size backpack- water bottles, change of clothes for kids, sweatshirts (will likely need these this time of year in early morning and evening), snacks, Disney ears, ponchos if potential for rain, pin lanyards
*purse-hand sanitizer, hand wipes, portable charger/phone cord, small wallet, water bottle, sunglasses, masks
*we do still bring a stroller- mainly to store our stuff in all day! We leave a change of clothes in the stroller for the kids.
