Out of an abundance of caution, Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal CityWalk will be closed on Thursday, January 9 as a result of the extreme winds and fire conditions. As always, the safety of our team members and our guests is our top priority. We continue to assess the situation.

Please see our below process for requesting a date change or a refund:

-One-Day Tickets

If your selected visit date is January 8 or 9, 2025, your ticket will automatically be valid for a Park visit date on any day on or prior to July 8, 2025.

-Two-Day Tickets

If your selected first visit date is January 8 or 9, 2025, your ticket will automatically be valid for a first Park visit date on any day on or prior to July 8, 2025. If you completed your first Park visit before January 8 or 9, 2025 and your ticket remains valid for a second Park visit, your ticket will be valid for your second Park visit date on any day on or prior to July 8, 2025.

-VIP Tickets

If your VIP tour is scheduled for January 8 or 9, 2025, please contact the VIP Experience Team at (818) 622-5120 in order to reschedule your tour for any day on or prior to July 8, 2025, subject to availability. Please note that we anticipate higher than normal call volumes.

-Annual/Season Passes

If your selected first visit date is January 8 or 9, 2025 and you paid for your Pass in full at purchase, your Pass will automatically be valid for a first Park visit date on any day on or prior to July 8, 2025. The movie was filmed on the east and windward sides of Oahu, including in Kailua and Kaneohe. Also additional film locations:

🦈Couples Retreat🦈

Couples Retreat was primarily filmed at the St. Regis Bora Bora Resort in French Polynesia. The resort's overwater bungalows, ocean views, and luxury accommodations are featured throughout the movie.

While simply breathtaking, these bungalows are going to set you back…..$1300 a night and up.

🦒Next stop on Adam Sandler’s lavish vacation spots from his movies is Blended! While parts were filmed in Georgia, we are heading to South Africa where that amazing resort is located!

The Palace of the Lost City hotel in ☀️ Sun City (South Africa) was featured in the movie. Other filming locations in South Africa include Pilanesberg Game Reserve and Kruger National Park.

The Palace of the Lost City is a family friendly 5-star luxury hotel with a theme based on the legend of a lost African tribe. The hotel is located on an extinct volcano in the Pilanesberg mountains. It features:
Regal architecture with botanical gardens, sculptures, streams, and waterfalls.

Olympic-size pool, Valley of the Waves, golf course, spa, activities for kids, and lots of dining options.

Rooms start around $350 and go up.

I have! Especially Adam Sandler movies. He’s always filming somewhere lavish!

So let’s take a look at where some of his movie vacation spots have been filmed!

Starting with, “Just Go with it.”

☀️The Grand Wailea Maui, A Waldorf Astoria Resort in Hawaii was the primary filming location for the Hawaii scenes in the movie Just Go With It starring Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston, & Nicole Kidman.
