Truth or Myth? The first step in taking your dream vacation is planning every little detail before putting down your deposit.

MYTH!

Before you can start planning your excursions, meals, theme park days, or even nighttime shows and entertainment, you have to actually book your trip. To actually book your trip, you have to know what dates, flights, and hotels will work best for you. Of course, that is where we come in!

This means the *real* first step to your dream vacation is scheduling a free consultation with one of our travel specialists. If you don't want to chat on the phone, don't worry! Email works just as well. During the consultation stage, your specialist will take notes on your wishlist, budget, travel experiences, requests, and needs.

Then, they will send over a proposal, likely with a few options for you to choose from. Everything they send you is fully customizable, within reason of course. At this stage, you are welcome to request changes or choose from one of the packages they sent you in this first proposal.

Finally, once you approve the proposal, you will send in your trip profile with basic information about everyone who is traveling with you. While you will send in your credit card at this stage, please note that nothing is paid until we send you a confirmation email.

Once you get that confirmation email, it will officially be time to plan!

Happy Experiment 626 day! This breakfast experience at Ohana at the Polynesian resort was one of my favorites! We had so much fun meeting Stitch, Lilo, Pluto, and Mickey of course. The kids loved the long interactions with each one as they came to the table, and I loved that the food was delicious, never ending, and my kids kept asking for more!

Day 2 on our Virgin Voyages Riviera Maya cruise! Started out my birthday 🎉 with brunch at the Wake—so fancy and the steak and eggs were AMAZING. I’m so glad the speciality restaurants are all included in our cruise fare!

Then we made our way to the Grounds Club for some coffee. Virgin partners with small farmers to serve fair trade coffee, and since no single-use plastic is used on board, hubby’s iced coffee was in this cool cup with a lid! We made our way out to a patio with some amazing couches and loungers to sip our coffee and listen to the waves.

It’s a big day in the Barnes’ house—this little nugget is finally tall enough to ride Soarin’ Around the World at Epcot! 🥳🥳🥳 No more waiting in the “airport” for her, she’ll be flying with us over the desert, the Great Wall of China, Fiji, and more!

When we’re planning your trip, we’ll talk about which rides your kids are tall enough for, and which ones they’re ready for. Even though my little one is tall enough for Big Thunder Mountain, I know that’s one she’s not ready to ride 🤣
