This past weekend Shakawe has been blessed.

We have had the honour to host His Excellency HE Masisi and also His Excellency VP Tsogwane along with most of our Ministers and Deputy Ministers.

They have been to the Okavango Sub District donating the the small stock iniative and delivering food oarcels to the community.

We have finished painting. Put new furniture in the main area.
First guests arrive today.

We have had cancellations. So now we have the 23rd 25th and 26th of December are available if you want to rent the whole boat for P8600. So that equates to 24 guests paying P358 each per night.

From tomorrow the 6th December to the 16th the boat is available to share.
There are 10 twin rooms with shared ablutions at P700 per room per night
Also 2 double ensuite rooms at P800 per night.

They did a boat cruise and the mighty Okavango blessed them with a huge tigerfish.

Shakawe River Lodge is proud to announce that it has taken over the management of Mr Raja's newly acquired houseboat.

The boat is currently moored by our campsite whilst she undergoes refurbishment.

She has 12 rooms and sleeps 24 people.

She will be available for exclusive hire from the 1st of December.

Bookings are already being taken and she is filling up quickly for December.

The cost is P8600 per night.

Yes guys thats the total price for 24 people on the boat for 1 night. You only need to pay for food or self cater.
