Checked in at the Titusville Kennedy Space Center KOA. Our home for the next 5 days

We decided to visit my sisters in the Melbourne Florida area sometime in February. At this point in time we were not sure of the dates.

A little research with Google Maps determined the route I wanted to take. It is around a 22 hour trip. It looks like 10 hours into the trip is Roanoke Va.

Did some research and determined that there is an RV resort located near Roanoke and that the preferred location for us to stay at our destination was the KOA at Titusville.

I created a Trip Note and then created 3 site notes. One for the Roanoke site going down, 1 for the Titusville KOA and one for the Roanoke site on the return leg. This allowed me to record resort names, addresses, phone numbers and any other pertinent information regarding the resorts.

Since the dates of the trip will more than likely depend on when the KOA site is available I placed 2/1/2019 in the date columns for now. I will update them when the dates are confirmed.

I sent a text to my sister Betty and asked for her address and my sister Bootsy's address. I created POI (Points Of Interest) notes for each of those so I would have their addresses on file.

A little more research turned up the fact that air boat tours are available not far from Titusville so I created another POI note with the name of the establishment, their phone number, hours of operation and added the fact that private torus are available into the Additional Information field in the POI note.

This week we will determine when we are going based on the availability at the Titusville KOA and I will have all the information that I need to make the reservations when it is time to do so.

I fired up the My RV Notes app on my phone and my tablet and performed a data-synch on each device. I now have my trip information available to me at any time on any device.

This weekend we went to the KOA in Quechee VT to camp with our granddaughter and her husband. MyRVNotes came into play on numerous occasions.

1. Wanted to call the restaurant at Simon Pearce and ask for a river view table. Pulled up the reservation note and had the MyRvNotes app place the call for me with a single tap.

2. What time are the reservations for dinner at the Simon Pearce Restaurant. Pulled up the Reservation note. 8:15 PM.

3. What are the hours of the Glass Blowing Exhibit at Simon Pearce. Pulled up the Point of Interest Note. 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM

4. How late is the Vermont Architectural Salvage in White River Junction open, Pulled up the Point of Interest Note. 3:00 PM

5. What time is the BBQ at the KOA. Pulled up the Site Note and checked the additional info field. 5:00 PM

6. What is the check out time at this KOA. Pulled up the Site note. 11:00 AM.

I needed to call the KOA Quechee Gorge VT. to inquire as to whether or not they would allow me to use my mobility scooter since I have a broken ankle. Instead of having to go to the browser on my laptop and look up the phone number I was able to fire up the 'My RV Notes' app on my mobile device, bring up the Trip Note and then the Site Note and press the green phone label and let My RV Notes place the call for me.

My granddaughter and her husband are joining us and asked if I knew about the Saturday BBQ. I was able to look at the the Additional Information I had posted in the Site Note that showed I had already confirmed us.

This is how the My RV Notes system saves you time and aggravation. All the information that I needed was at my finger tips and ready to use.

Used My RV Notes to plan our Halloween Adventure at the Quechee VT KOA on 10/18/2019. Used a Site note to capture the site reservation information and 3 Points of Interest Notes to record the contact information of places we plan on visiting.

Yeah, we actually use the thing ourselves/

The system is comprised of a web site (MyRVNotes.com) and native Android and iOS applications.

My RV Notes is a solution that allows you to log information about your RV Equipment, RV Trips and RV Club Memberships for future off-line reference. You know, those small pieces of information that you really do not think about until you desperately need them.
