Were back!! Beldy Chapel is no longer on tour and this fancy door is open for business.

We’ve a lot of bookings coming in now and earned with AirBnB and some sort of award with BDC too after our first year with them. But remember booking direct always saves you money so get in touch if you’d like to book, whether you’re walking the Pennine way, or fancy a longer quiet break from the hustle.

Haven’t done a before and after for a while because we seem to have slowed our roll recently. But here are our new understairs cupboards to hide all my outdoor gear. They are made, of course, by Moz’s fair hands and reclaimed timber from my Dads stash!!

The drawer bases are old pub tables and the door probably fished out of a skip knowing mi’ dad. His wombling days are (theoretically) now over so he’s released it to our grasp! The possibilities are endless!!

Just as the weather closed in on Cross Fell yesterday, we are nearly ready to close for bookings over winter.

This should give you some idea of how we can accommodate up to 5 people in the annexe.

A lot of feedback we get says the photos don’t show just how big the rooms are, so I’ve taken some photos whilst it’s set up for 5 this weekend.

We’ve had a super busy summer so far and September is also busy but if you are still keen to book we have the following dates available:

The everchanging chapel.

Andy and I moved to the chapel in July 2019 with the intention of completing what had already been started on this beautiful conversion. We haven’t really stopped since and in December we opened the “Spa room” to paying guests through Airbnb, a platform we had previously used in other properties in Ulverston and Orton. In March we welcomed our first paying guests to the Annexe which of course did not last long before the virus closed us down. We hope to be up and running again soon but in the meantime, we keep on keeping on!
