Just as the weather closed in on Cross Fell yesterday, we are nearly ready to close for bookings over winter.

the sun is shining and we’ve had a last minute cancellation in the one bedroom annexe. Can sleep up to 4/5, perfect for a couple or two friends. Five star reviews all year on Airbnb and dog friendly, accessible (ground floor and wide doorways), parking and full kitchen and bathroom.

This should give you some idea of how we can accommodate up to 5 people in the annexe.

A lot of feedback we get says the photos don’t show just how big the rooms are, so I’ve taken some photos whilst it’s set up for 5 this weekend.

We’ve had a super busy summer so far and September is also busy but if you are still keen to book we have the following dates available:

Never get tired of this walk up Bentyfield mines. I love the way nature keeps trying to reclaim the land from the industrial past despite the human intervention.

Did you know that the ground floor annexe is accessible for wheelchair users? We have a ramp for the one step down to the patio, all doors are wider than standard and each room is large and clutter free.

Why not book a stay for some of the few mid-week dates still available in August?

1st - 2nd, 6th - 9th & 13th - 15th inclusive.

Eeeek! June is fast approaching and despite the weather not catching up yet, the wildflowers are in full bloom.

I’ve just waved off a Penine Wayer who stayed last night, now on her merry way up Cross Fell with the promise of better views than I had yesterday.

If you’re a lone walker and would like a negotiable price in the blue room then get in touch. You won’t find the blue room and spa bathroom on BDC and if you book direct it’s always negotiable

Did you know, that if you contact us direct, we can accommodate a group of up to 8 people?

We’re all set up to host 6 Pennine Way Walkers on Saturday and they all have access to the spa bathroom and large dining room.
