Buddha Dordenma statue aka Buddha point is the largest Buddha statue in the world, at 52 m hieght which is situated in Thmphu, capital city of Bhutan. Inside the statue, there are 125k miniture Buddhas encapsulated inside of its enlightened bronze chest, ranging from 8 to 12 inches tall. This means that in Thimphu, which has a population of around 115k, there are more Buddhas than there are human beings.

Tiger's Nest Monastery: Also Known as Paro Taktsang or Taktsang Palphug Monastery. It is believed that Guru Padmasambhava (Guru Rinpoche), who is credited with introducing Buddhism to Bhutan, meditated here for 3 years, 3 months, 3 weeks, 3 days and 3 hours in the 8th century.
The Monastery hangs on a cliff edge dangling 10,000 feet above the beautiful Paro Valley.
The structure is built around the cave in 1692 by Gyalse Tenzin Rabgye and it has become the unofficial symbol of Bhutan.

Punakha Dzong: locally known as Pungthang Dewa chhenbi Phodrang, is the second Dzong to be built (in 1637 AD by Ngawang Namgyal, 1st Zhabdrung Rinpoche) in Bhutan and used to be government seat until mid 1950's. The dzong is still the winter residence of official monk body. The King of Bhutan His Majesty King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and his beautiful wife, the Queen of Bhutan Jetsun Pema got married in October 2011 at this Dzong.
