On April 23, one of the most special days is celebrated in the streets of Barcelona: Sant Jordi 🌹 📖 A celebration that combines romance, culture and tradition, in which Barcelona becomes a huge open-air bookstore and florist.
This day Catalans celebrate their patron saint Saint George (Sant Jordi in catalan), and men give roses to women 🌹 and women give books to men 📖. However, it is increasingly common for both men and women to give each other books and roses regardless of gender.

The streets are filled with people walking among stands of books and roses, looking for a special gift, and you can breathe joy and color throughout the city! 🤩
