Before 2024 came to an end, I wanted to come on here and say thank you to all of those that trusted me to help plan their trip this year.

I know with the little one on the way, I have been very much “in and out” of the office more than expected this year, and appreciate your patience as we learn to navigate this new journey together.

As 2025 approaches and we get closer to meeting this little blessing, I wanted to reassure everyone I am not going anywhere. I will be sending out emails to all of my clients that have trips planned this year individually this week and explain my goals and plans to help make this transition better for everyone.

I can’t wait to see what 2025 holds, and can’t thank y’all enough for everything 🤍

For those of you that have not heard the good news yet-

Our travel plans just expanded… we’re adding a tiny passport to the family, arriving March 2025! 💚

Some of you may be wondering what this means. Have no fear, I am not going anywhere. You will still be able to call me with all your travel needs. All that is going to be changing is my schedule and availability as we transition through this new phase in life.

So with that, I thank you in advance for your patience and support during this special time. But please don’t hesitate to call me with any questions in the meantime.

••Trip recap••

Atlanta -> San Francisco (Wednesday July 3rd, 2024)
•Made it through {general} security in 30 minutes on one of the busiest travel days of the year. (Thanks 6 am flight 🙃)
• Landed 10 am and started making our way around
• Ferry Building
• Watched someone get rescued from the bay
• Pier 39 (saw the Sea Lions)
• Fisherman’s Wharf
• Ghirardelli
• Saw Alcatraz (from a very far distance)
• Oakland A’s game
• Exhausted from a 20 hour day (thanks time zones)

San Francisco -> New York (Thursday July 4th, 2024)
• 6 am flight after less than 5 hours of sleep
• Met up with our friends
• Times Square
• 9/11 memorial
• Firework show from the One World Observatory
• {Trey} ran the Brooklyn Bridge
• Wicked on Broadway (no better way to see it)
• Sight seeing
• Yankees Game (about died of a heat stroke, but worth it for an awesome game!)

Newark -> Atlanta (Saturday July 6th, 2024)
• 9:30pm flight to make we’re back for church on Sunday.
• landed and left the airport around midnight
• 2:30 am arrival home

Jammed packed trip filled with so many precious memories with some of our favorite people. While this was our craziest adventure yet, I wouldn’t have done it any other way.

This is what 3:30 am looks like. Let’s recap:

Arrived at ATL Airport at 5:15 am.
Flew out to San Francisco.
Checked into hotel at 10:00 am.
Found breakfast.
Walked 20,000 steps.
Drove over to Oakland.
Watched {most} of the game. Game started at 6:30 pm 🥴
Drove back to the hotel.
Was up for 20 hours straight.

And now here we wait for our next flight. ✈️

New York here we come!!

Some call is crazy. Usually we call it adventure. But right now we call it exhausting 🤣

Nothing like leaving your husband on his birthday to go win a bunch of awards and fun prizes 🤩

This year at Collective, I had the honor to decorate for our awards banquet. And apparently those were the only pictures I took all weekend. 🤦🏼‍♀️

But have no fear, I learned so much from all of our wonderful suppliers and I’m ready to help serve you better on your next trip!

I’m so thankful for this team, this opportunity, and each of these awards. Thank you for letting me be apart of this amazing group, and thank you for this wonderful •family• you lead each and every day.

But most importantly I want to say a special thank you to all of you that trust me with your travel needs. I can honestly say I wouldn’t have won those awards tonight without you. So thank you. ❤️

Want to know a little secret on how to make the most out of your next Disney trip? Be prepared. Regardless of your age or even your physical condition, going to Disney World can be a big task that should not be underestimated. On average a person walks over 20,000 steps a day while on property. If you are not accustomed to this type of activity, preparing in advance can make your vacation more comfortable and even prevent injury.

Here are a few tips to help you prepare for your next trip:

1) Begin a walking plan. Don't worry about speed, you are just aiming for time on your feet. Start out with 15-30 minutes and gradually increase your time.

2)Walk in all types of weather conditions- hot, cold, rainy, sunny, cloudy, etc. Let's be real it's Florida so you never know what to expect with the weather. But most of the time it is going to be hot, humid and sunny.

3)Wearing shoes that have good arch support and fit you correctly are a must. Do not go for looks. Make sure the shoe is comfortable. You can even add a foam or gel insert for extra comfort.

4) When you do start walking, wear the shoes you think you are going to wear at the park. This will allow you to feel how comfortable your shoes are, and make adjustments as needed.

5)All shoes you take should be broken in. NEVER wear anything completely new on your trip, especially shoes. Start breaking in your shoes at least a month in advance.

6) Part of being prepared for Disney is having the right clothes. Know the weather before you go and pack accordingly. Tight jeans and dark clothes are not advisable for summer trips. So make sure you have the right clothing before you come.

7) Know what backpack you are going to use. I recommend testing it out on a couple of your walks, and put some weight in it as well. This will allow you to
make adjustments if needed. Sometimes the cute bags aren't always the most comfortable thing to carry around all day.

8) Most importantly.. when planning your stay, build in extra time for rest. Plan on resort days or midday meals to give yourself a break. This will help you better enjoy the parks.
