Clark International Airport (CRK) has been named as one of the world's most beautiful airports by the Prix Versailles, the World Architecture and Design Award at UNESCO.

According to its website, the 'World's Most Beautiful' recognition is an "example presented to the world" and a "sign of exceptional architecture and design."

Clark airport operator Noel Manankil, president and CEO of Luzon International Premiere Airport Development Corp. (LIPAD), expressed his gratitude for the award. He said it serves as an inspiration to continue "giving Filipinos what they truly deserve, a world-class airport."

Other airports recognized include Arturo Merino Benitez International Airport (Santiago, Chile), Beijing Daxing International Airport (Beijing, China), Berlin Brandenburg Airport (Schonefeld, Germany), and Eagle County Regional Airport (United States) among others.

In 2021, CRK was among the top six finalists in the Prix Versailles Architecture and Design Awards under the Airport Category.

The airport is designed by architect Royal Pineda and Budji Layug.

Despite being stripped of her Deputy Speaker post, former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo is sticking to her word to support President Marcos’ choice for House Speaker, his cousin Leyte Rep. Martin Romualdez.

Arroyo, in a statement, also made it clear that she no longer aspires to become House Speaker again, perfectly content to serve as an “ordinary” congresswoman of Pampanga’s 2nd district.
