I hope all of you have the chance to enjoy time with your family and friends this weekend. This beautiful work of stained glass is located inside the Old State Capitol in downtown Baton Rouge. It's one of my favorite places to visit during a walking tour because it's such a unique building.

St. Joseph's Cathedral is the oldest church in Baton Rouge and the first pastor was an Irishman! Father Charles Burke was brought to the city to by King Carlos IV, who founded the parish in 1792. To fit in with the Spanish population, Father Burke went by the name Carlos instead of Charles.

The church is full of history and is one of my favorite places to visit during a walking tour. Book your tour today >> https://bit.ly/37EiMcR
