It is travel tip Tuesday!!!! As a travel professional, I participate in many trainings to ensure my clients receive the most up to date information possible before, during, and after their trips. I also enjoy helping my clients save money, so they can splurge elsewhere along the way!

Did you know that Southwest gift cards are a great way to save even more when flying Southwest Airlines? Many membership clubs like Sams and BJ's sell gift cards at a discounted rate. Often, these are also offered for an additional sale during promotions!

As a family of 6, Southwest is one of our favorite airlines! We often use the wanna get away rate for our trips! I recommend upgrading to their "Anytime" fare when flying through certain airports. That priority line access is a game changer! Ask me how I know!!!

Did you know.....?

A lot of people misunderstand what travel agents do.

What you may not know....travel agents aren't paid if you don't book with them. Travel agents are not paid an hourly wage. They are only compensated on trips they book, and only AFTER you return home from traveling. Payments are made by the partnering hotels, resorts, cruise companies, and other travel suppliers. That Mexico vacation, cruise, all-inclusive resort stay, etc. that you book on your own could have been booked by a travel professional for the same price if not CHEAPER and, you would have helped them build their business.

Did you know that Global Entry membership is valid for five years, and the cost breaks down to just $20 per year? Did you also know that it also includes TSA precheck?

If you travel even once or twice a year internationally, the time saved is absolutely worth it!
