Packing up to go home tomorrow. We saw the eclipse in 100% totality. It was amazing!
Walked a pretty trail and Joe cooked us some supper. It was so nice to see my sister again, after 4.5 months.
I guess we are now ready to be home after a great winter.

Last camp until we get home on Tuesday. It's been an adventurous winter in Florida, Alabama, and Mississippi.

At Chickasaw campground for the night. Beautiful place. If we were here longer, we would get the kayak down.

Say it isn't so....last time to put our feet in the sand until December. 😔
Took a nice bike ride to the beach and walked in the sand one more day before the journey home. Hoping for a kayak trip tomorrow and then head for Arkansas on Saturday. Will be there for the eclipse in 100% totally.

We went to Pascagoula today. Rode our bikes and walked around town and the beach. What a beautiful day.

Got in a bike ride into town and walk in a wildlife refruge before the rain. Beautiful 75° day.

Had a nice day over in New Orleans. Went to the French Market area, the river, Harrahs and to City Park. Joe got his oyster po boy that he's been craving.

Took the ferry from Dauphin Island Alabama over to Fort Morgan. It was nice to explore the Fort. Got back on the ferry back, and the engine had some issues, so we backed up to the landing. All the cars had to back off the ferry and drive back to where they came from. Time wise, it is only an extra half hour.

No longer in Florida. Made our way to Davis Bayou Campground near Oceans Springs, Mississippi, for the next two weeks. Our time is getting short.

Our last day at Fort Pickens campground and in Florida. 😔 Off to Mississippi tomorrow, for the next two weeks.

We were surprised to see a sampling of the Blue Angeles practicing from our camp this morning. We also went to the lighthouse and museum on the Naval Air Base.
After that, we went to the Naval Air museum. We are both tired out and ready to start supper.
Another nice day at Fort Pickens campground on Pensacola Beach.

Good day at camp. Morning and afternoon walks on the beach, saw so many dolphins. Joe smoked meat for the week and we got lots of sun.

Leaving Fred Ganon Rocky Bayou State Park, heading back to Fort Pickens for two weeks.

Visited the Airforce Armaments Museum at Eglin AFB near Niceville FL. Had an hour sand and surf time at Ft.Walton beach , finished the afternoon at the Destin Harbour boardwalk.

Camping at Fred Gannon Rocky Bayou State Park, North of Destin. Went for a leisurely walk at Turkey Creek in Niceville. Beautiful place and a beautiful day.

Lunch with friends at Patches Pub and couldn't resist a walk on the beach before we move campgrounds tomorrow. Beautiful day! ☀ and ⛅

We enjoyed church at The Sanctuary Church of God this morning and found an excellent Indian restaurant. Persis Briyani Indian Grill this afternoon. Good Sunday!

Spent the day in St. Andrews FL. Great downtown area with a farmers market,food trucks and a car show today.

We had a nice Valentines Day with some friends from Arkansas yesterday, who are in Floridafor a month or so. They are in PanamaCityBeach. Walked the beach, met some new people and went to dinner at Captain Andersons. Wonderful day.
We will be leaving Grayton Beach camp for Sand Pond camp, in Pine Log State Forest this afternoon. Near Ebro, FL.
