Happy first day of school! Shout out to all the special teachers out there who strive to make a difference for every student.

Amina has done so much for refugees in our community as a mentor and role model. Mom would be so proud. The letter mentioned in the article has been framed and hangs in my parents’ home since Mom received it 10 years ago.
