ZIHUA IXTAPA ADVENTURES takes groups on an amazing tour to waterfalls and country experience. We had a spectacular meal with the best tortillas we have ever tasted made from maize from the Bravo family farm. We toured their property to see how cinnamon and lime trees grow as well as medicinal plants that prevent cancer. We visit the rental cabins available to return to for a longer stay nestled next to a beautiful creek. We spent a relaxing afternoon bathing in the waterfall.

Restaurants are informing servers that they no longer get to "cash- out " their credit card tips at the end of shift. The restaurant owner/ manager tallies the credit receipts & the tips get taxed & applied to the servers' payroll check every week/2 weeks. A lot of restaurants have started this practice. So, if at all possible, start tipping your server in CASH. With so many people paying by credit card, many servers are going home empty-handed at the end of their shift. Just something to think about in this already horrible economy.

During Mexico Prehispanic history there were very few towns that could resist the powerful Mexicas.

Around the Pátzcuaro lake was the most important city of the Purépechas, Tzintzuntzan , it was so important that later on it became their capital. If you ask your self what the name of the capital means, it is very simple and beautiful, Tzintzuntazn means, “The habitat of the humming birds”. The organization of the city is Based around being a challenge for any opposing army’s to enter its lands,Its grand Walls and strategically placed city made it so that the Man that had the high ground always had an adavtange against their rivals
