Wow. What a fantastic first day back this season! It was so lovely to greet familiar faces eager to get their favourite fix, and great to welcome some new faces too.

✨✨A massive thanks to the whole team for an amazing start and a smooth service. ✨✨

We’re open throughout the Easter weekend, from 12pm to 5pm, and we can’t wait to feed and water you! 🐣

The Annexe will always be our special place. Memories flood back to when we bought the house in 2018, spending our first night in The Annexe with the then, white PVC patio doors desperately held up with gorilla tape trying to protect us from the storm outside (it didn’t work!) whilst our baby Ianto, carefree and happy shuffled around our new place by the sea.

We wrapped up all in one bed, covered ourselves in blankets and tried to see the joy in listening to (and quite literally) feeling the waves around us!!

Whilst our lounge was quite soggy the next morning, the patio door no where to be seen, we embarked on our renovation sooner than anticipated.

It’s such a pleasure to now share our special slice of heaven with guests, so they can create their own memories, comforted in the fact we invested in very sturdy super duper patio doors!

And just like that... It’s spring, and The Wavecrest Cafe is springing into action once again! 🌊🌸 We’ll be firing up the ovens, ready to serve all your favourite treats starting Thursday, April 17th. Join us from 12 PM to 4 PM for food and drinks, with cakes available until 5 PM. 🍰☕

Frogg Cottage is sat directly opposite Rhuddlan Castle, providing unobstructed views of this wonderful ruin. Not a bad view to look at with your morning ☕️☕️☕️

Do you love especially for the coming months?

What are your plans for Christmas and New Year 2025?

All four of our holiday lets were fully booked for Christmas and New Year 2024, with such amazing feedback from those lucky enough to spend their precious family time either by the beach, exploring a 13th century castle or in the thick of the festive action in the centre of Chester.

More importantly they were all booked before January came to a close!!

We always keep the calendars blocked for the Christmas and New Year period to give our existing guests priority so if you fancy away from home at then email us [email protected] for prices and availability.

A whole day spent outside today with the boys, in October and NO COATS NEEDED. The forecast looks amazing for the next 10 days. I can spy people in the sea in swimmers (no wetsuits)!

and in overlooks the Irish Sea and delights with beautiful all year round.

Tonight…you can only hear the waves lapping. Zero breeze and beautiful red skies.
