Accumulating snow is on the way to the northern mountains in New Mexico and southern Colorado. Heaviest snow starts Friday night and continues through Sunday morning. A few to several inches are likely above 8,500' in northern New Mexico. A dusting of snow is possible in west-central New Mexico Friday evening. 1-2' and locally up to 40" is likely above 9,000' in southern Colorado!
