Thanks to the prominent sound designer from Israel Michael Goorevich sounds from our "Wolves" library were used in the outstanding film "Berenshtein" by director Roman Shumunov. This film is absolutely not about wolves, but about the hero partisan commander of World War II Leonid Berenshtein, who discovered the nazists' secret research facility that was developing their last hope weapon, and changed the outcome of the war. This library’s uniqueness is simple: it features cowbells and other typical bells used on animals, recorded synchronously with two systems: close and distant, in the natural acoustics of a field, surrounded by forests, but without any other environmental sounds at all. Clean direct sound, beautiful early reflections and reverberation in pure silence. May be used as utility animal bells, subtle atmospheric mood elements, scene punctuation elements, abstract metal sound design elements or for game UI sound design.

This library provides the highest quality vocal sounds of the members of a wolves pack in their social interaction: Howls solo and in groups from 2 to 9, fierce growls, extremely bassy grumblings, barks, snorts, whines, yapping. I recorded the raw material at the private shelter for wolves, using the method of passive observation with minimal intrusion, nothing was staged or provoked. I stayed with the wolves alone for a week, every night just setting and adjusting the mics. A large part of the library is made of unintentional recording of the accidental territorial quarrel between a polar wolf SEVER and an alpha male HORT: close very aggressive growls, teeth clacking and other fight sounds. Luckily, in spite of the terrifying sonic impression, no one was injured. About 60 hours of raw recordings were edited and mastered into 1 hour 18 minutes, 151files with 500+ individual sounds. 131 files are 192 kHz, 20 are 48 kHz. Wolves are very emotional, expressive and surprisingly musical. So, these sounds can be equally useful for films and games featuring wolves, as well as for creature and monster sound design. Some of the recordings sound very humanlike with complex vocal phrases.
One mysterious and haunting, very quiet track from my "Karelia, Northern Europe. Vol. 2. Lakes and Streams. Summer" surround sound library. Love it myself very much. When I first heard it while sitting in my boat recording and holding my breath, I couldn't even imagine who makes these grunts and howls. This volume is even larger than Vol.1: 71 quad surround ambiences, almost 6 hours total duration, recorded with extremely quiet and sonically reach Nevaton MC-50 mic. Deep, immersive and absolutely free from technogenic and anthropogenic sounds.
