So tell me WINTER ❄️ or SUMMER 🌞❓

Same place, the Oeschinensee and Kandersteg at winter than at summer time.

Just asking for your opinion because personally I can’t choose.

I used to dislike winter because of the cold. But after spending 2 winters in Florida, I have to admit that I missed winter and the snow so much.

After spending 2 winters in Canada, I learned that the real reason why I dislike winter is that it’s quite humid here in Europe. Which means, it feels much colder that it looks. Meanwhile in Canada, the winter is more dry so it doesn’t feel as cold as it looks on the thermometer.

After the last 4 years, I’m confident to say that I’m currently in love with the snow and winter 💖

How about you? Winter or Summer? Or both? (That’s an option too 😊)

In 2020, it was the second time we had the chance to visit the Ice Hotel (Hôtel de Glace) in Quebec.

This magical place is easily accessible from Quebec City - it’s about 20 minutes driving to the north.

It is situated in the famous Valcartier Village where everyone finds a perfect winter activity. From the Winter Playground through the Ice Hotel till the Aroma Parc and Bora Parc, you can even do ice skating ⛸ on a 1km long skate way (it’s not a regular ice skating rink).

“St. Moritz is a luxury alpine resort town in Switzerland’s Engadin valley.” - the first sentence you can read about this stunning place on Wikipedia. 💻

The truth is, this town has a lot to offer to everyone from every sort of life. 👩👨

Sure, the is absolutely gorgeous around the But if you like nature, just rent a bike 🚲 and take on the countless bike paths.

Or put your hiking 🥾 shoes on and wander around the mountains for a day trip.

Moreover, there are quite a few interesting museums and attractions where you can learn a lot about this unique town.

Favourite place in Paris.

Obviously, when is comes to the ‘Must see in Paris’ list, you have a lot of things to do & see on it.
But when people ask about what to see in Paris when you only have a few days to visit, the No 1 suggestion is the Louvre (by day and night).


It is a real masterpiece, not only because of the countless art pieces in the museum but because of the amazing architecture of the building inside and outside. And of course, including the breathtaking glass pyramid outside and the upside down pyramid inside. -> ‼️ One of the best selfie spot in town ‼️

PRO Tip: get your ticket online in advance so you won’t be waiting hours in the line! Also, check on the website if you are eligible for the Free entrance.

Personally, we love Paris but the first ‘flash’ comes to mind when we think about the city is always the Louvre with the night light.

Disney Springs is really a great place to stroll around!

It is completely FREE to visit.
The parking is FREE.
The atmosphere is great and you often have FREE concerts or some kind of animation.
Plenty of possibilities for shopping!
Some very unique restaurants to try : the Rainforest Cafe or the T-Rex.

PRO tip for dining in Disney Springs : make sure you reserve your table well in advance because often the waiting time is about 2 hours or more.

When the clouds are floating over the lake ...

One of the best thing we love about Switzerland 🇨🇭is that doesn’t matter if it’s cloudy down there (or as we say ‘en bas’ in French) because if you go up a little bit in the mountains you can always find sunshine ☀️

Or in this case, an amazing floating white cover over the Lake Geneva 😍

The original Toblerone view 🏔

Located : of course, in Switzerland 🇨🇭

❓Did you know that the Toblerone chocolate was created in Bern, the capital of Switzerland in 1908 and the triangular shape originates from a pyramid shape❓

Nevertheless, the Matterhorn and Zermatt is one of the most visited&photographed 📷place in Switzerland. And of course, Toblerone is a worldwide known delicious chocolate bar 🍫

Zermatt and Matterhorn is also know for its ski slopes that are open 365 days a year! Which means, it’s one of the unique places in Europe where you can ski 🎿 even during summer!

But don’t worry if you are not much of a skier, this place has a lot to offer to everyone.

From a 360 degree viewpoint deck, till the Glacier Palace in the heart of eternal ice, you can definitely find something you like.

PRO tip : be prepared with appropriate clothing even during summer time! The highest point you’re able to visit is almost at 4000 m altitude which means cold 🥶 despite the bright sunshine.

Once you are in the UAE 🇦🇪 there are so many things to do beside visiting Dubai or the deserts 🐫🐪

There is also Abu Dhabi with its incredible and grandiose Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. It is the largest mosque 🕌 in the country.

Beside the bright white building that you see from far away, the other thing is : it is so bright and clean! I was afraid that I’ll slip on the floor which was so shiny everywhere.

Oh, and for the record, the mosque has free parking (indoor places as well) and the entrance in the mosque 🕌 is free as well!

We can guarantee that’s a once in a lifetime place to visit.
