So much has been announced for the Disney parks at D23 this year!!!
📣 First up new lounges in the parks!!! 📣

🏴‍☠️Two new lounges will debut in 2025 including an all-new Spaceship Earth Lounge at EPCOT and the Pirates of the Caribbean-themed tavern at Magic Kingdom. 🍻🌐🏴‍☠️

🚨Big Changes ahead 🚨

On July 24, Walt Disney World will introduce new, simpler names to provide more clarity for everyone. Disney Genie+ service will become Lightning Lane Multi Pass, while individual Lightning Lane will now be known as Lightning Lane Single Pass.

Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel and other select hotels will be able to plan Lightning Lane passes up to 7 days in advance, for their entire stay (up to 14 days). All other guests can plan up to 3 days in advance.

The single pass selection is pretty much the same but will be limited to the most popular rides.

Wow! I actually prefer this change! What do you think?

When cruising to Alaska there are so many options for which cruise ship or port to choose from and it was difficult for us to decide in fact we changed our cruise ship about 7 months before the sailing due to an itinerary change on our original ship.

So what did we choose? We decided to go with Royal Caribbean’s Ovation of the Seas.

There was so much to do on this ship that we definitely did not get to everything!

We were definitely impressed with the headliner shows and offerings throughout the cruise.

The food in their specialty restaurants was delicious especially in Jaimie’s Italian soooo yum!

We had a spacious balcony due to our room location and the decor in the room was so relaxing. We had a teapot with tea and coffee provided daily!

We took a full day to explore this ship so if you’re unsure that’s why you use a travel agent! We do the exploring for you to help you make a better decision on booking a ship!

Let’s go to Disney in the fall!!! Why should you go in the fall?!! 🍁

🍁The Food and Wine Festival begins in late July and ends in early November at EPCOT!!
🍁The Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party has multiple nights starting August till end of October!
🍁The park is decorated in its fall finest decorations ❤️🍁

Roundup Rodeo BBQ! This is located in Disney Hollywood Studios Park. This is a family style restaurant with fixins to share! The theming in this restaurant is top notch Disney theming! The food will delight those picky eaters because we are talking comfort food here! If your kids or kid at heart loves Tory Story then I would put this on my must do list!

Happy Father’s Day y’all! I wanted to start reviewing my trip to Alaska on Royal Caribbean’s Ovation of the Seas! Let’s talk about our port first which was Seattle, Washington.

This has got to be one of my favorite departure ports so far! Seattle has so much to see and do! We were able to extend our vacation by staying three days in this beautiful city and we did not regret that!

This is a very friendly laid back city and the food is one of the reasons to visit!

I will say that our port for our ship was a shuttle or Uber ride away and it doesn’t have any hotels near to it. If you book this trip with our agency I can help you navigate this since we worked out the kinks on my personal trip!

Up next I’ll explore the ship then Alaskan ports!

17 dining locations to include Jaime’s Italian which we’ve never experienced and my favorite Wonderland which we plan on doing again!

The shows include Spectra’s cabaret which we’ve already signed up for! And The Beautiful Dream!

❓I get asked a lot why Alaska or why sail to Alaska with Royal Caribbean?!!?? ❓

Well with less than three weeks till I sail I’ve answered that one many times maybe because of our age or maybe it’s because we choose the Caribbean typically 😂

Here’s our why: Alaska is on my bucket list along with Canada so this type of cruise you can get both! Also, on this type of cruise you are here for the views, pictures and wildlife!

Our cruise spends a day sailing the inside passage and the views are like no other so I’d say if you are going to Alaska then I’d get a balcony!

This ship has the North Star so pictures at this height will be worth our splurge!

I’m very interested in Whale watching, seeing eagles, bears and various wildlife! So if that skyline it’s for you then you may love this!

Royal Caribbean has so much to offer onboard and a covered pool as well so for us it’s a no brainer to get in from the cold and enjoy the amenities onboard!

May through October is typically when you’d want to go and we are going in the shoulder season for cheaper rates, less crowds and more wildlife options!

Up next the packing for an Alaskan vacation is crazier than you could imagine!!!

Here it is again our countdown to our upcoming adventure! We are flying to Seattle spending three days the hoping on Ovation of the seas for seven days in Alaska the back to Seattle for a full day! So excited to share about this ship, these ports and our next greatest adventure so I hope you’ll follow along!

I get asked a lot will I get bored or what is there really to do on a Royal Caribbean cruise??!!!

Well the answer is there’s so much to do and there’s something for everyone! Really these days cruise ships are becoming the destination take for example Icon of the Seas Royals newest ship is really all all in one destination itself!

Spotlight Today is on things to do in the park other than rides! We are talking about OGA’s Cantina at Disney Hollywood Studios. It’s a must visit for us each trip and while it’s a bar it also serves alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks for the entire family along with small bites.
You never know who will pop in for a visit while you’re there and the drinks for adults are always out of this world!

It’s always a nice break out of the heat or rain, it’s always a good time with DJ Rex!

So many more things to choose from but this one is always on my list. They do require advanced reservations however I’ve walked up at night before and was worked in near park closing.

Less than 90 days to go guys and the countdown is on for our Alaskan Vacation!! Have you ever wanted to go to Alaska? I know I have ever since I saw Northern Exposure I knew I’d have to see this for myself one day! I’m so excited to be on a sister ship of Odyssey of the Seas which we sailed on for our Transatlantic so Ovation will be very similar but some differences which I’m so excited to see! Hey y’all I’m here just to remind you that I’m still booking those Disney Vacations! I know I’ve been talking about my Royal Caribbean trips lately but today I’m going to spotlight Disney and with so many new things to experience at Disney you will always find read to keep going back!

We’ve got The Flower and Garden festival coming up soon and for those that love flowers this festival is a must see!

1900 Park Fare has announced its reopening which is such wonderful news to hear after such a long closure.

EPCOT is wrapping up its renovations and slowly those walls are coming down revealing all the work they’ve put into reimagining these spaces!

There’s so much more coming your way and I’ll try to keep those updates coming along for you!

Happy Fri-yay!

I know it’s been awhile but I wanted to check in and share what’s going on in my travel life and what I’m now doing for the agency!

Today’s Spotlight: I’m booking Royal Caribbean cruises more and more and it’s become my specialty. You should know I’m a loyal to Royal cruiser myself with more than 20 cruises with this company so I decided to help you book what I know and love!

My next Royal Caribbean cruise: My bucket trip to Alaska! So, join me in counting down to our May sailing and I’ll include what you need to know when cruising to Alaska!

🛰️Space 220 lounge 🛰️

All I can say is WOW!! We had a lounge reservation which means you have a bar menu with small plates and drinks. I think this was plenty for us as we did not want a large meal for lunch.

I had the Cosmic iPA and my husband had an old fashion but he had it altered a little.

He ordered the octopus which was brand new to their small bites menu and I had the braised beef tostadas and we absolutely loved our food!!! Very delicious!

Let’s talk atmosphere: I always was obsessed with space camp as a teen so let’s just say this place was giving my teen dreams a run for their money. I loved it!!

I definitely see us returning!

🧡 Skipper Canteen 🧡This is such a hidden gem in Magic Kingdom. This is our second time dining here and it was as good as the first! My must try is this Brazilian Cheese bread, the kungallosh beer and the unsustainable fish! Yummmm

😍The Boardwalk Resort 😍

Let’s talk about our resort! I’ve only stayed here twice and they were for only two night or less stays. I’ve never gotten to fully enjoy what this resort has to offer and so far I’m pleased!

This resort has several dining options onsite, two of which I’ve already tried this trip! There are several bars and cafes and plenty to choose from!

I will have to say the refurbished rooms and hallways are absolutely beautiful! We love the new look of everything. There are plenty of plug ins and room under the bed for alllll your luggage.

Let’s talk about convenience to the parks and other resorts. You are steps within the entrance of Epcot and several other resorts with bars and restaurants to choose from! Also you can walk to Hollywood Studios and take water taxis to both parks.

The night life at this resort kinda makes it worth the stay here from live entertainment to music at the bars.

My view is a garden view room and as you can see I can see the skyliner, the quiet pool and I’m as close as you can get to Epcot probably without staying in Epcot lol we saw fireworks and could hear the music last night!

So first impressions are we love it here! Keep following along there are more reviews and photos to come!

🧳With less than five days until we leave for our trip we are thinking packing!!! 🧳

You may ask what you pack when driving and well it looks alot different for us flying versus driving and we are driving! We have and 8 or so hour drive which we are going to do in two spurts.

Packing list
🧳 rain gear: always pack for rain because it’s Florida and you never know. I take packable ponchos, umbrellas travel size, very lightweight rain jacket and outdoor sandals.
🧳mouse ears of course along with magic bands!
🧳Halloween gear for our party!
🧳Several shoe options so that I do not get blisters also for two fancy dinners!
🧳lots of clothing options for various things to fancy dinner to park outfits.
🧳medication for any issues: we travel with a mini medicine cabinet because it’s expensive and hard to find the medication you know works for you!
🧳Benadryl, sunscreen and bug spray
🧳water and breakfast food for the room!
🧳workout clothes for getting in some exercise on non park days!

Honestly I probably pack too much but I’ve been so much I know that this variety of things work for us! We also have book bags, travel purse and a beach bag for the pool day!
