We drove to the Dallas area hoping to see the eclipse, but things werenât looking too great this morning. Clouds were rolling in quick and we tried to not get our hopes up. To avoid driving in traffic, we made our way to the event at the Frisco Rough Riders Ballpark. The baseball field was located across the street from our hotel, so it was super convenient.
We watched the partial eclipse through a mixture of clouds and sunny skies. Right as totality started, the clouds dispersed and we had a clear view of the eclipse for a solid 3 minutes! It was absolutely insane đ€Ż The skies were eerily dark, you could see planets, there was a chill in the air, and maybe even a few tears in our eyes. We loved hearing everyoneâs reactions around us, but please excuse our silly babbling đ It was definitely one of the most amazing experiences weâve ever had. Here are some clips of our experience. We hope you were able to catch all or part of it too!

Bentleyville Tour of Lights
Bentleyville USA is one of our favorite holiday traditions! Here's a video from the festivities a couple of years ago--happy holidays and Merry Christmas! đ
Exploring European Christmas Markets
Here's a video from our time exploring Christmas markets in Europe! đ
We took a two week trip through Europe and stopped at holiday markets in four different countries: Budapest, Hungary; Bratislava, Slovakia; Vienna, Austria; and Berlin, Germany. It was so much fun to see the small differences from market to market and city to city--we had a fantastic and festive time! Happy Holidays!
2 Night Train Ride from Winnipeg to Churchill, Manitoba
The 2 night VIA Rail train from Winnipeg to Churchill, Manitoba, was such a great way to travel to Churchill! We loved the slow journey through the remote wilderness of northern Canada. We stayed in a double cabin in the Sleeper Plus Class section of the train and spent our time having meals in the dining car, looking out the glass dome ceiling in the caboose, playing cards, reading, and chatting with fellow passengers. It was defintily an adventure for the books!
Checko out our video for a look into the train journey to Churchill đ #TravelManitoba
When we were in Quebec earlier this week, we spent the day snow tubing! In the summer, this place is a huge outdoor water park, and once the snow hits, it turns into the largest winter playground in North America. There are over 35 runs to tube down and some of them go crazy fastâit was a blast! đ·
