Eight years ago today, I posted this picture from Bay Lake Tower at Walt Disney World, hours after Disney closed due to Hurricane Matthew. Fast forward to this week, and Disney is monitoring Hurricane Milton and I know many travelers will be affected. I say this often, but it's always worth repeating: You don't think you need a travel advisor...until you need one. I go, so YOU know. I cannot help you if you don't book with me, but I will make you a top priority if something unexpected happens on your vacation that is out of your control, such as a weather-related closure that I experienced in 2016. It's my job to worry about the details! It's your job to relax and have fun.

The main reason behind this trip was to finally stay in the moderate resort that I book so often for clients. So many of you have told me how much you love it and after a week, I will agree that it's my favorite of the moderate resorts! And the main reason is this picture. Having the Skyliner hub just steps away is amazingly convenient! While I am admittedly a huge fan of the deluxe resorts (and that's not changing) and I will always recommend those first, I have really enjoyed this week at Caribbean Beach and it will continue to be my favorite recommendation for moderate resorts!

Making the most of After Hours with back-to-back rides on Rock 'n' Rollercoaster to kick things off!

Checked in and unpacked at Caribbean Beach. Our request came through and we got a Little Mermaid room! There is even a stepstool for kids that has had multiple benefits already. Being a somewhat late booking, standard was the only room category available, but this exceeded expectations! A corner room, a great view, and we even got to see the fireworks tonight!

This is the moderate that I overwhelmingly book the most, and although I've been here before to learn the layout and have a meal or two, this is the first time I've ever stayed here. And it's been a great start!
