Take a stroll from The Nest’s front door to discover Haverthwaite Heights. Pack up and go into full mountain goat mode to get to the top, or there’s options to take it more gently, maybe grab a coffee from first and take a pause at the bench where we took this photo on the lower route.

It’s perfect for younger children to tackle, our girls call this the ‘Magic Wood’ and hunt for fairies the whole way round. If you’re lucky the steam train will usually puff past and complete the perfect view! 🌲 🚂
