Can I tell you a secret? Do you promise not to judge me? Ok, here it goes... deep breath....

I didn't want to take my kids to Disney 🙈

The thing is that I have some really great memories at Disney, and a lot of those are trips that I took with my husband, just the two of us. We like to do Disney at our pace, we go non stop, we ride all the things, we rope drop and close the park and I was sure that my kids were going to ruin the experience for me. I know I know I'm terrible.

Here's the thing, they sure changed the experience for me but in the most incredible way. If you love Disney and the magic that it holds for you, just wait until you see it through the eyes of your children. I would give ANYTHING to see them light up every day like they do when we're at Disney.

Ok, hear me out because I know what you're thinking. Why would I let my kids control our trip? Do you know how much I paid for this trip?

Trust me I get it, there's nothing worse than spending all that money to spend it leaving the parks early, skipping dining reservations or taking mid day breaks and missing out on the happenings going on all around you right? Actually, there is something worse, and that's pushing your kids too hard, and then everyone is miserable.

Disney is exhausting for grown-ups, and for our littles, it's a lot! The best thing you can do is read their cues. I promise you a mid day break to cool off in the pool will leave you feeling far more content with your trip than getting to push through.

One last thing....Disney is huge! I promise you that even the seasoned professionals don't get to everything they plan on one trip. The best thing you can do to maximize your time is to enjoy the memories you're making with your family. 💜

He may be cute but he can't keep a secret! Don't worry I told him he could share the news! Disney has dropped some big beautiful bombs and we can't contain our excitement!!!

2024 dates will begin booking May 31st, the Dining Plan is returning, extra magic hours will continue and Disney has heard the requests to simplify Genie + and changes are coming.

Guess what? One of my favorite times to visit Disney is in the fall! Want to know why? One of the best special events takes place in the fall! Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party!!!! Special shows and parades, trick or treating throughout the park, and of course the parade!

Disney has announced the dates for the event and while there are many dates to choose from this event always sells out quickly.

Whether you're a child or a child at heart, you'll love being "pixie dusted" by your fairy godmother at Sir Mickeys in Magic Kingdom. Located just behind and to the right of the castle is the sweet little shop where you will find all sorts of souvenirs.

Locate the Fairy Godmothers (cast members) with the magic wand and ask for some pixie dust. Then close your eyes, think happy thoughts, and embrace the child in you as you are sprinkled with fairy dust!

It's a fun activity for both the young and young at heart and the best part is it's free!! What could go wrong with a little extra Disney magic!

All you need is faith, trust, and pixie dust, after all!

This or that Thursday! Are you team Pandora or Team Galaxys Edge? Honestly I love both!

One of my favorite things about Disney is their attention to detail. It's the attention to the smallest details that truly sets them apart from any other vacation destination.

Even if you're not a fan of Avatar or Star Wars you cannot set for on either of these labs and not feel like you've been transported to a galaxy far far away or a land of beauty so unimaginable it blows your mind! If you've been there than you know exactly what I'm talking about.

If you've never been there, then I think it's time that you sent me a message and we get you there! They're truly amazing to behold and experience.
