I am pleased to announce that the Cass County Historical Society has been awarded Michigan Gateway Community Foundation Grant of $2000.00, funded through the Cass County Community Fund. The grant award is designated for the Red Brick Schoolhouse interior paint project, and has put us over the top for our fundraising goal.

On behalf of the CCHS I would like to thank the Michigan Gateway Community Foundation for their confidence and trust in our society's historic preservation efforts. It is a great pleasure to receive this grant award.

I would like to thank member Jean Schultz for her guidance and support on the grant application.
