Huge congratulations to our friends Roger, George, Shanika, Seth and all the team at 🍾 Roger and his family based team celebrate 25years of business. What an amazing achievement! We’ve peronsally known Roger for well over 30 years and proud to have witnessed the growth of his business and huge repution as a 5 ⭐️ dive centre. We wouldn’t dive with anyone else when visiting Barbados.

We were amazed to find that our very own Ocean Breeze was featured in Channel 4’s A Place in the Sun, first broadcast in October 2018, especially as it was the favourite property of the 5 that were shown to the couple.

If you would like to scuba dive whilst staying at ocean breeze then is the place to go. A 5 ⭐️ family run Padi centre based in Carlisle Bay.

Rogers team are life long family friends of Ocean Breeze and we highly recommend them. Many guests of Ocean Breeze regularly dive with RSC.

Try dives, Padi courses and guided reef and wreck dives all available.

Highly recommend spot! - La Cabane, Bats Rock.

Restaurant/bar located at Bats Rock Rock on the bottom of the west coast. Great for drinks, lunch or dinner. Or breakfast which is only served on a Sunday.

Amazing snorkelling or swimming just off the beach there. Good surfing if a swell comes in.

Good car park with public toilets if you just want to visit the beach at Bats Rock.

Oistins Fish Fry Fridays!

Ocean Breeze is a 5min drive from Oistins Fish Market. By day you can buy your fresh fish from the market which have come direct from the boats via the jetty behind the market. Or enjoy the ‘Fish Fry’ vendors. Fish cooked to order, whilst drinking a Banks Beer or Mount Gay Rum whilst you wait of course. Tuna, swordfish, marlin, mahi-mahi (locally known as dolphin, don’t be alarmed, its not flipper) flying fish, lobster, chicken etc served in an extremely informal setting. You can get your fish grilled or fried depending on which vendor you choose from. Oistins Fish Fry has become something of an institution in Barbados, particularly on Friday nights. Imagine it like Borough Market, Camden Market in London but Barbados style! Fridays are very lively (and often crowded) with plenty music; competing stereos blasting reggae, calypso and the current Crop Over hits. Some roaming drumming acts hype up the crowds and sometimes you can catch a live band or DJ on the main stage. On a Friday art and craft items are on sale, including jewellery, pottery, ceramics, leather craft, wood carvings, straw craft, clothing and accessories, and original paintings and prints. Food is usually available from about 7:00pm but if you go early (5:45pm ash) you can walk on the pier and perhaps see a great sunset. Collect your fish scraps from the vendors in the fish market and feed the turtles. Frequented by visitors and locals alike, it's a great place to spend an informal evening. Lots of parents bring their children. If you go after 7.30/8:00pm, be prepared to wait for seating and food.

The back bedrooms can either be 2 singles or quickly zipped together to make a large comfortable double. All mattresses are pillow topped for ultimate comfort. The large master bedroom also has a pillow topped double bed, ensuite bathroom, and walk-in wardrobe. The VERY large balcony off the master bedroom faces south with a good view of the sea.
