‼️"When do you recommend swimming with Manatees?" Well, right now! ‼️

Manatees love warmer waters and with this beautiful cold front, we are seeing more of our manatee friends out in Kings Bay. Right now is a unique opportunity to have a taste of manatee season before it officially starts. After multiple hurricanes Mother Nature decided to give us - and the manatees - a little gift! 🌊

📞 Give us a call to swim with nature's chubby mermaids! (352) 423-3798 📞

With cooler weather on the way, we’re gearing up for one of our favorite times of year—manatee season! 🧡

As temperatures drop, these gentle giants start to frequent the Homosassa River even more, and it’s the perfect time to see them up close.

Mark your calendars because our manatee tours start on November 15th!

Did you know? Manatees can hold their breath for an impressive range of time—up to 20 minutes if they’re just relaxing and lounging around! But if they’re on the move, especially when they’re actively swimming, they come up for air much more frequently, every 4 to 7 minutes. These graceful giants truly know how to pace themselves depending on what they’re up to! 🌊

We’re so excited to get back on the water and introduce you to these amazing creatures. If you’ve been lucky enough to see one up close, we’d love to hear about it! 🧡 Share your photos and stories with us in the comments—what do you love most about these laid-back river residents?

We’re counting down the days to manatee season and can’t wait to share this incredible experience with all of you again!

Tours are available to book now!

Storms and wildlife
The best way to stay safe and help wildlife under storm conditions is to be alert and give wildlife their space. Don’t attempt to rescue wildlife during or after a storm if it would lead to a dangerous situation.
