We stayed for the fireworks even though we had checked the weather forecast. We laughed and danced in the rain on the way back to our bus stop when they were over. We even took the time to get these pictures, knowing we would get soaked in the process.

I never would’ve thought that it was our last time at Magic Kingdom together, but now I am even more thankful that we took the time to enjoy the night, rain and all.

2023 was HARD. Getting Mom’s cancer diagnosis and losing her in a span of 10 months was HARD.

I wasn’t as present on social media and didn’t put out as much info about the Disney travel planning that I do over that time, but I know mom wouldn’t want me to give up on things I’m passionate about.

With that being said, I’m here and I’m ready to help you enjoy one of my mom’s favorite places on Earth, Walt Disney World, and other Disney Vacation Destinations!

Should I hang this photo of Winnie the Pooh from Epcot in my son’s nursery?

On a serious note, I recently booked his first trip to Disney World, and he isn’t even born yet! While I totally understand and respect the idea of waiting until your kids are older to take them to Disney, don’t let your kids’ age(s) stop you from going if you want!

Here are some of my reasons:

1. Your kid(s) may not remember early trips, but YOU WILL! Your kid(s) may not remember the first time they met their favorite character, but you will forever have those photos and remember the light in their eyes!

2. You can still enjoy the parts of Disney that your young child can’t. For example, taking advantage of the Rider Switch Service will allow all older kids and adults to enjoy an attraction that a young child may not be able to without anyone having the wait in the line twice or go back later.

3. There are still plenty of attractions and shows that little kids can go on and enjoy!

4. You may experience Disney in a whole new way. For the first time ever, I have a “rest day” planned in the middle of my trip where I won’t be going to the parks. This is going to be a new experience for me, and I am looking forward to having a slower paced trip!

5. Kids under 3 years old get into Disney Parks for FREE! That’s right, a child does not need a ticket into the parks until they turn 3 years old!

PSA: Being your Disney Travel Consultant is now my full-time job!

The last 6 months have been some of the best and worst months of my life; I got the best and worst news of my life within a span of just weeks. With that being said, I have been on a journey over the last 6 months that has led me to where I am today, and while the future is unknown, there is still a lot to be thankful for.

I am happy to say that this business is no longer going to be a “second job” or a “part-time gig” or whatever term you’d like to use. As of now, I am no longer teaching and coaching at the high school level. Instead, I will be focusing my attention on being the BEST Disney Travel Consultant that I can be for my clients!

While the amenities and proximity to the theme parks vary by resort, each resort has something unique to offer! On my recent Agent Education Program trip to Walt Disney World, my mom and I stayed at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort.
