This French tourist flew to Jerusalem at a time no tourist would think about it. "How did you make such a crazy decision?" I asked. "I was told Jerusalem would be spared. And I figured I would have the Old City all for myself." And he happened to be right. He could follow in the footsteps of Jesus and enter the number one holy site for Christianity without queuing up for even a second - the Golgotha and Holy Sepulche. He could recollect and pray in silence. "Thanks a lot. I loved it," he later wrote🙂
